Name: Feather (goes by Blue or Jay)
How would you use her: as a character, perhaps use her in the Goennec RP, but I love her design it's beautiful, and still simple :3
Define your Goennec:

Personality:
Feather is very playful and energetic, she loves to play, even though she doesn't have sibling she invents games to play by herself. She loves storms, the wind, and the thunder, they don't scare her like they do some other Goennecs. she loves water and likes to play in the rain, and in puddles after rain (which doesn't make her mother very happy I imagine X3) the ground in the meadow her den is in gets very springy and muddy after rain, and she loves to jump around in it trying not to sink in, it's one of her favorite games. The den her family lives in is by a stream that she loves to splash around in, when her play tires her she loves to watch the current, and the small creatures that swim around in it.

She loves to look at the sky, and watch the birds, she loves to watch the eagles, and often wonders why Goennecs can't fly to, she wishes she had wings, if only to see what it's like in the air.

her favorite food is the sweet flowers and clovers in the fields around her den, the place she lives in is a small clearing on a low plateau-like area surrounded by trees, there is a small creek that runs out of a small mound of boulders by the mountain side, there is a clearing with tall grass that the creek runs through, that's where her den is. The grass is tall enough that she can be well camouflaged, and still play around at the same time.

Feather hates times when the sun is out, and everything is just too hot and dry. the grass becomes too brittle and scrapes against her paws, and the sunshine hurts her eyes, if it goes on for too long the creek dries up to little more than a ribbon.

likes:
storms, lightning, sweet clover, leaping on rocks, peace and quiet in the early morning, when the clearing appears to be wrapped in mist.

dislikes:
not being able to play, even if it is by herself, being in trouble, arguments/violence, sadness, sunny dry days, when it's too hot and the creek is much too shallow,

is it all right if I do some journal entries from a Goennec researcher?

My name is Nicola,
I'm going to be up in the mountains for 1 week observing Goennec in their natural habitat.

Day 1:
I'm finally out here! wow, it's really exciting, I've been looking forward to this for weeks. The other guy here, Mike keeps taking jabs at my excitement, "You'll never see them" he says, I don't believe him, I'm determined!

Day 3:
I saw them today! a small family of Goennecs. At first I only saw the ram and the ewe, but then a small head poked out from a bush. It looked from right to left, curiously, then was pushed back inside by it's mother. It was just a glimpse, they smelled me and disappeared in a patch of scrub, but I was so excited to see them for the first time!

Day 4:
I saw the same family again, they're beautiful! The ram is a blue color, , the ewe is a beautiful creamish color, but the kid is what I pay most attention to, I love her personality, She's so energetic! She's a light blue with a white stomach and grey markings on her back, face, and paws. She's beautiful!

day 6:
This is the last day I'll be out here, and I'll miss it. I saw the family again for one last time, they seem so close, it makes me sad to leave them. I couldn't record video of them, but I did get to see them closer than before. The kid looked at me like she knew I wouldn't be back, she was so playful and free spirited the past week it was almost sad to see her like that.

How would you use him/her:
He would be a companion to Basil and a character of mine. I would get him art when I get the chance and possibly draw him myself as his design is pretty simple. I would write stories about him and Basil and maybe with Londi and Melia as well. Lilly would probably take no interest in him. I've always wanted an adorable kid and he would be put up on my character site along with my other Goennecs. I would RP with him as well because I really need to start RPing more. I'd love to add him to my family of Goennecs <3

[Fade's PoV]
My golden yellow eyes shot open as I shivered with immense fear. I shook my head to clear my thoughts and recollect myself. I've decided that nightmares are stupid, because they keep coming back to haunt me. Actually, I've decided that life itself is stupid, because all it ever does is haunt me. Ever since I could remember I've been getting these frightening and scary dreams. Occasionally I've had nice, happy dreams, but mostly I've been having horrible nightmares. I have no idea of how to stop those fearful dreams, so I'm just stuck with them. Stuck with them until I die I suppose. I even wonder of how I'm able to keep myself sane. There's no use in trying to make the best of my condition, because in the end, I'm just a Goennec with problems. I trembled violently, the dream had been unusually frightening this time. My eyes wandered left and right as I tried to find out exactly were the heck I was, but nothing was familiar. Great, I was hopelessly and utterly lost.

I jumped in surprise as I saw a pair of blue eyes staring down at me. As I started to focus, I realized that the pair of eyes belonged to a spotted Goennec. He was a ram who was on the taller side of the height spectrum, but he was still fairly of average height as well. He looked down at me with a rather hard to read expression on his face. It looked like he was contemplating whether of not to leave me all alone out here. "And who might you be little one?" He asked me. "I'm Fade mister. And I'm completely lost, do you know where we are?" I replied, not sounding too hopeful. "We're currently in some forest. Sorry kiddo, I have no idea either." He laughed, but I didn't get why it was so funny. We were out in some unknown place and we don't even had the slightest clue of where we are, how is that amusing!? "I guess we'll be stuck here for a while then. I hope the predators don't find us." This was just like one of my nightmares all over again. "Don't worry about those stupid predators, I'm sure we can take them on. And we just have to keep moving, this forest has to stop sometime." He smiled, completely ignoring the seriousness of this situation. "Fine, but these woods are creeping me out. I hope it ends very, very soon. By the way, what's your name mister?" I said nervously, there was something unsettling I didn't like about the forest. "The name's Basil, now come on you whimp, we should get moving."

I pranced around the stranger named Basil. He looked strong and brave, maybe he would protect me from the dangers of the forest. "Where are we going again, Basil?" I asked, still confused about the whole situation. "I already told you Fade, I have no idea at all." His voice sounded grumpy, maybe Basil was hungry. I know I sure was. "Don't you think we should find some food, I'm getting hungry." He glared at me, like I had done something horribly wrong. "Fade, do you see any food around here? We have to keep moving, now stop prancing around like that." He hissed. Well, someone is being irritable. I dropped my head and my eyes shifted here and there. Man this place was creepy. The sounds of noisy bugs swirled inside my head and the dark shadows danced around me. I could hear my feet slosh in the wet ground and there was some sort of liquid dripping on my face. "Basil, I'm scared. This place is freaky." I mumbled. "What is there to be scared of Fade? Just come on, we need to find somewhere to settle for the night." Yep, he was still in a bad mood. "Okay, will you protect me at night? Predators are scary too." I replied in a soft voice. I looked up at him with large eyes, hoping he would stop being mad at me. "Yes Fade, I will keep you safe. There's nothing to be scared of, okay? Nothing is going to get you." His voice softened as well, and it seemed like Basil himself was actually softening too. Usually he's much more rigid and uncaring. "Do ghosts live in this forest?" I asked, which I'm pretty sure there was. How could a place so creepy not have ghosts? "Fade, there is no such thing as ghosts. Stop being so afraid of everything." He sounded frustrated this time, I think I'll shut now.

Night fell and I was getting nervous again. What if a predator comes to visit at night? What if something horrible happens to us? Life seems to have turned into a nightmare for me. Basil laid down under a large, dead tree and curled up into a ball of spotted fur. I curled up next to him, leaning against his warm stomach. Basil grunted as if displeased and mumbled "Fade, nothing id going to eat you. You don't have to sleep so close to me." in a tired voice. "But I want to make sure I'm safe. And I want you to be there if I have more nightmares." I whispered into his ear. "Fine, just don't squirm." He replied. "Okay daddy." Oops, I let my tongue slip again. I'm so stupid. Well, it's too late to take it back now. Basil sighed and murmured "Basil, I'm not your father. I've told you this already. No matter how much you hope, I will never be your dad." I laid my head on his forearm and muttered "But it doesn't matter, you're like a father to me." I think I heard him say something, but I couldn't make it out. I gently closed my eyes and drifted off into sleep.

Name: Faith

Define your Goennec:

--Personality--

Faith is definitely not the most outgoing of does. The young ewe had some problems making friends from the time she was born up until now, and this problem continues. Not many want to talk to the odd, quiet Goennec in the corner. And, strange as she is, Faith has always had an odd obssesion with water- one she isn't too careful about hiding. This is yet another reason most Goennecs find her odd. However, not many know the reason for this obssesion. It is mainly because of the day when she ran away from her mother, when she was staring into the river. Faith is very caring, and has always been, but hardly ever shows it, because not many talk to her. She knows a great deal about taking care of someone, and is very good at it. The young doe quite possibly gained some of her issues the day she ran away from her mother, for it was probably the most traumatic thing that she's done, and now has occasional flash-backs that make her frightened.

--Likes--
-The water. Possibly because it reminds her of her mother.
-The sun. She is quite comfortable while sunning on a rock.
-Listening to others talk. Maybe this is because her mother only muttered to herself, unless on one of her periods of brief sanity.
-The color blue. Her eyes. The sky. Water.

--Dislikes--
-Winter. Has always had a less-than-positive outlook during the winter. And the water freezes over.
-Her flashbacks. They remind her of the times when her mother was at her worst.
-When Goennecs stare at her oddly. She knows she's different, but is always afraid that someone will declare her an idiot and kick her out of the only real herd she's had. {Comes into play, possibly in the Goey RP}
-Rams. She never knew her father. Never had any interaction with rams. They scare her, especially during the Siv.

--History--
"Faith. What a perfect name. My dear, dear, Faith." These where the last words I recall hearing from that motherly voice that guided me through the first of my years. I disinctly recall being afraid when the voice fell silent, but eventually I learned to grow and survive on my own. Well, I technically already knew how to. I had been, since the mark of my second birthday. You see, my mother wasn't always all there. I like to tell myself that this was because she was in a world no one but her could be in, a special place for the most wonderful of Goennecs. When I was very young, I might have believed it. But now I know. I know the difference between my mother and most others.

I'm not sure what tipped me off, but one day, my mother was being perfectly crazy. Which was typical. But then, something happened. She stopped laughing at a joke I couldn't hear, stood up, and walked away. I called out to her, but there was no response. She didn't even acknowledge that she had heard me. I looked after her quizzically for a moment, and proceeded to follow her.

The path she took led us to the twisting river that marked the end of our small territory. I sometimes liked to take short swims in the water, but usually it was just there. On this particular day, my mother sat abruptly by the river, staring into its depths as if it was holding some great secret, and my mother was asking it to tell her. I recall walking up to the crumbling ground lining it, and sitting down also. I stared into the river, trying to see what my mother was looking at. But nothing was there. Absolutely nothing. I frowned, peering at my mother. Only then did she seemingly notice my existance. This ended up scaring me more than it would have if she just sat there. She twisted her neck, her eyes meeting mine. A crazed expression filled them, and a scary, lopsided smile touched her face. As she sat staring at me, I realized I had stopped breathing. It was then that I knew in my mind what I had secretly known all along, but had not been willing to deem as true. My mother was unconditionally crazy. I remember standing up, a tear running down my cheek, as my mother looked at me. I turned to walk away when she whispered something I barely heard.

"Blue. And brown. And blue. And brown." My mother was listing the two main colors on my body, over and over again. I turned, backing away from the doe as if she might leap for me at any moment. And then she said it. "Faith. What a perfect name. My dear, dear, Faith." I turned and fled from the riverside.
