Since I run sled dogs competitively, I figured this would be something nice to do in my free time ^^

Just fill out the form on the adoption page for any particular husky. Can be story, CS pets/items bidding, art, naming, number guessing, or any combination.

Guest Artists:

I think how this will work, is that each artist makes a total of 5 designs and then I will hire a new guest artist in their place. You can't re-apply directly after being an artist, but after another person has a turn you may re-apply. I will hire two guest artists at a time. I may hire permanent artists at a later time.

The unregistered hybridized Alaskan Husky is preferred for dogsled racing. It is primarily used for working purposes, unlike the Siberian Husky which is used for both show and working purposes. Alaskan Huskies are carefully bred to produce the best working dogs possible. The breedings of the Alaskan Husky are planned breedings and are technically pedigreed, however they are not consider pure and are not registered by the AKC or CKC because they are sometimes crossed with other Northern and non-Northern breeds to produce the best working dogs possible. The Alaskan Husky is unlike the Siberian Husky, which is a purebred dog that is registered with the AKC and the CKC and is used as a show dog as well as a working dog.

Appearance wise, Siberians are usually somewhat smaller than Alaskan Huskies. Alaskan Huskies are usually leaner in build than Siberians. Siberians often have blue or any combination of blue and brown eyes, whereas Alaskan Huskies often have brown eyes.

I run Alaskans, they are ten times better sled dogs than any other breed in the world. Here, I will draw Siberians and Alaskans though, because Siberians do have nice appearances ^^

Breeding:
I will open breeding once a good number of huskies have been adopted out.
