just making this clear to everyone- the students and townies attend different schools, but that doesn't necessarily mean your character has to be in school at this moment. they can be ditching, attending, whatever. have fun everyone! uvu

Scarlet pinched a piece of limp lettuce between her two forefingers, a look of distaste curling her lip. She barely glanced up at Drew as he sat down, then immediately tapped the edge of the glass on his tray with her index finger. "Is that diet?" The redhead enquired, before taking the glass anyway and downing half of it. Her own carbonated drink was warm, and, frankly, disgusting. Honestly, her parents were paying enough money for her to board at this school, they should at least serve food that was edible. Hearing Drew address the other girl at the table, Scarlet's eyes flicked up and over. Marjorie seemed... interesting, to say the least. New enough. Scarlet, who prided herself in being head of the school rumour mill, hadn't learned much about her. Drew seemed very interested in her, which was hilarious. Scarlet knew what he was playing at- two years being his sidekick had made her good at reading him- and she tried to figure out the most cutting way to tell him that him trying to annoy her wasn't working. Like, at all. Most of the time, Scarlet didn't have nerves for people to get on. She placed the glass back on the tray and smiled blithely at Drew's henchmen, Mars. Now, him- she adored annoying him. It was positively her favourite pastime. She pushed the dark red tray of barely eaten food away from her, and instead started tapping away at her phone, ignoring everyone at the table. █
