Hello, there, you! Yes, you, you fine person right there. Are you a great artist on the Oekaki boards? Do you think you're fantastic enough to create the lines for my new species? Well, look no further!
Now obviously, we must start with what I'm looking for, right?
I have included several sketches for you within the drawing, so you have a rough, general idea of the species. But let's sum them up for you, eh?
This species is mostly canine in appearance, with a extended muzzle, short neck and short, stocky legs. However, they are different in that the males have two tremendously long horns coming off of their heads, and another, equally large, thick blade in the middle of their back. They have a short scruff of fur hanging over their faces almost like bangs, although they are very short in males, basically looking like a bunch of fluff piled on their heads. In female, the head horns are thin, short and almost straight up; whereas the male's curve backwards. The blade on their back, too, is slimmer and smaller, but for all they lack in horns, they make up for in their tails. Since this species is accustomed to living in cold, bare mountains, they need a method of keeping warm, and the babies, born with very thin, short fur, need warmth more than any. So the females have tails that are nearly twice as long as a male's; to wrap around the babies and keep them warm. Their ears are slim and mostly straight, tapering to a slightly kinked point at the end. Their noses are small and canine, just placed on the end of their muzzle.
They choose mates not by fighting- although this does occur often- but by choice. The female will choose her mate, and while they do usually go for the males with larger horns and thicker fur, any one of the species can be chosen. They can only reproduce anisogamously, or a male and a female pair. The female can have 2 litters in her lifetime, with anywhere from 1-3 kits in a litter, and she will keep the same mate for life.
These guys are relatively small creatures- without their blades, their head height is only at around 2-3 feet, which is basically at the shoulder of a mountain lion. However, the horns of a male can reach nearly an extra 2 feet, making them much more fearsome. They typically weigh in at about 80-90 pounds. This species is omnivorous- they eat whatever they can, although their sharp claws- 3 on each foot, one for each toe- seem more accustomed to ripping meat. {Just some real-life facts for you.}

Alright, now that all of the species information is out of the way...Let's go on to what I want to see from the entrants!
what it must include:
- General lines
- Male horns/blades
- Female horns/blades
- Female tail
- Female hair {let's say male hair is the default}
- Shading
- Eyes- pupil, highlight, etc. etc. {I really like good eyes!}
what I would like it to include:
{the ***'s on the side rate how much I like the idea, from 1 to 5}
- Baby lines *****
{if you are doing baby lines, please PM me and I will give you info on the babies- but remember that there must be a total of 3 babies on the lineart, as it will potentially become nursery lines!}
- Teen lines ****
I like the idea a lot, but they aren't necessary. Just do the teen as you think it would be done- smaller body, a bit smaller horns, shorter tails, etc.
- Highlighting *****
Shading is required, but mega bonus points if you do highlighting as well!
- Semi realistic lines *****
I like this style best of all!
- Gender signs **
Not required, since I can do them myself, but it would be nice.
- Name suggestions ***
Oh my gosh, I need these, so go right ahead xD
- Color palette *
Not needed, but a good extra.
- Eye ref **
Would be nice to have ^^
