Okay so you may or may not be familiar with these guys called Mutatoes:
Image
I ran this adoptable line over the summer, but now I do not have the time to manage it
So I am searching for someone who is able to take over for me
If there are no suitable applicants, I will be shutting it down

If you are selected as the new owner, I will provide you with the animated lines as well as instructions on how to use them

Rules:
Don't PM me, ask questions here.
Don't quote the first post, only the form
Don't quote other people's forms, don't quote your own form
You will be disqualified if you don't adhere to the above rules

Some information:
The Adoptable
The Mutato Adoptable has a pretty hefty fanbase, who have been active through my 3+ month absence
We have a staff of "too many" artists
We have 300+ existing adoptables

Requirements:
Must have Adobe Flash
Must have Adobe ImageReady (or another program able to make .gif's from .png sequences)
Must be willing to provide me with an email so I can transfer the .fla files

Restrictions:
You may not sell Mutatoes for real life currencies
Mutatoes must remain on CS
Mutatoes must remain a mainly free, form-based adoptable

I do not mind if:
You change the staff
You change the policies
You change the lines
You charge CS pets for some adoptions
You give Mutatoes to someone else if you don't have time to run it
You decide to shut down Mutatoes if you don't have time to run it

The form:
Code: Select all
"Leave this line of text here"
Username:
Tell me about yourself:
Have you run adoptables before?:
Why do you want to take over Mutatoes?:
Do you have all the programs listed above?:
Anything else:

I am quite interested personally in trying out. But I have one question; so you consider GIMP 2 to be a suitable for this adopts image animating means? I have used it myself for gifs before, particularly gifs with other images uploaded and modified to it. At any rate, thanks for the information :)

Username: My username is JayzPF, although that may be subject to change soon.
Tell me about yourself: I'm a young girl living in the states with plenty of free time and what I like to think are decent artistic abilities. I have a good amount of experience animating and creating GIFs. I strive to be polite and courteous to all users.
Have you run adoptables before?: Unfortunately, no. I've been an artist for several different adoptables before and I'm in the progress of creating my own adoptables, but not yet. I wish to gain as much experience as I can.
Why do you want to take over Mutatoes?: Mutatos are amazing. I've been around since the start, when I was still Coppa'd. These adoptables have been a big part of my life; I own two at the moment. I know I'll probably never be as good as Akami at managing this or creating art, but I would pour my efforts into bettering the species and enriching the community as a whole. I plan to be very active, so this won't be a problem for me.
Do you have all the programs listed above?: I do indeed.
Anything else: Good luck to everyone else, and we'll miss you Akami!

I added a line to the form about the programs
You can make things work without ImageReady, but you must have Adobe Flash, please indicate whether you have Adobe Flash in your form, thank you!

Username: Hello, I'm .:Thundersnow:. , but I am commonly known as Thunder.

Tell me about yourself: Well, I am the average internet-addicted teen with a love for animals, geometric designs, and the color indigo. I have adored Mutatoes since I first laid eyes on them. I am a generally friendly person and love to be involved in my adoptables. I am high-energy and happy, and almost never get bored of designing or drawing

I am at a high reading level and can read rather quickly for my age. This means I get work done twice as fast as most of my friends do, and am often the first one done with assignments in class. You know what this means? No homework. Which means more time to spend with the CS community, and more time I could dedicate to getting everything done for Mutatoes on time, every time.

I feel like I almost never run out of ideas. The only thing that stops me from drawing what I feel on a daily basis is real life or wrist cramps from drawing too much.
I also love gifting people, but that's irrelevant to the topic.

Have you run adoptables before?: I have run several adoptable centers before, including one that is quickly becoming rather popular, the Kora. However, I am high-energy and extremely vigilant, so everything is almost always done with quickly and I become bored and randomly browse. I feel I could put this time to good use.

Why do you want to take over Mutatoes?: Well, for one, I have tons of free time, every day. So much so that I must resist the urge to pump out Koras factory-style since I really have nothing else to do; so I could handle this pretty smoothly.
For two, I love mutatoes! I have always thought they were an extremely creative idea. A happy change from the usual adoptable style. I would love to be able to have the honor of running such a beautiful, well-done center.
For three, I have many, many design ideas. I am a complete perfectionist and could create designs along with the other artists, and be heavily involved in this community
Plus I'll be able to strut my stuff. Quite literally, with the pacing and all

Do you have all the programs listed above?: Yes, I have easy access to the needed tools. I have GIMP, but am willing to download ImageReady if it works better ^^ I have flash and can work with both GIMP and Flash in a snap

Anything else: I wish you all luck, and you, Akami, in the part of life that you are involved in right now ^_^ thank you for this exciting opportunity!~

Tell me about yourself: I am an self taught artist, and am very active on Chicken Smoothie. I like to try out for and be a part of adoptable communities of all kinds. I really enjoy creating designs, and helping out with coding of front pages for species and offering help in general. I do my best to get along with all the users on Chicken Smoothie also. I have school of course, but I have enough time to allot the proper attention and care for Mutato's. I consider myself to be good at managing and organizing things, and I'm also super great at coding (it's really quite enjoyable).

Have you run adoptables before?: No, though I do plan on creating one, and I am a guest artist for one. I have run large roleplays before, on Chicken Smoothie and on other sites.

Why do you want to take over Mutatoes?: I like Mutato's a lot. I think that I could help the species become and continue to be popular. I have good experience with running and being apart of popular adoptables and roleplays. Seeing as I own two Mutato's already, and I love both to death, it would be fun, exciting, and an overall great experience for me to run Mutato's. I haven't been around since the beginning, but I have been around long enough to learn to love the species and get into the community. I don't want to see the community and adoptable to die off, it's just too much fun and cuteness.

Do you have all the programs listed above?: Yes, I have GIMP and Adobe Flash, and I can probably get Adobe Imageready if need be. I am also willing to give you my e-mail.

Anything else: Good luck with schoolwork and your life in general, and thank you for creating such a great species for Chicken Smoothie! It's sad to see you go, and I hope to see you around Mutato's often.

DragonLoverHere, but please, call me what you like. I'm a person of many names. ;)

Tell me about yourself:
Well, I am a very self motivated girl who lives in the United States. When I first joined CS, I fell in love with digital art. I have since then been entirely self taught and practiced by mouse, though I am hoping soon to get a tablet. I also have large dreams for my digital art life, and in fact hope that I can make it my career in life, too! Designing OCs for others is my strong point, but I am teaching myself with patience how to make better linearts and stepping up my lineless style.

If it's me personally you want to know about, I can sum it up for you in a word. Fire. That's me, a fire, coming from every person I have ever met. I always burn passionately about things I love and will fight with all my heart to defend them. When it comes to people getting close to me, I can put out a bright and warm attitude that is infectious and welcoming to even the bitterest person. I'm spunky, loud, and love to make a good time. However, if you mess too much with me or the ones near me, I am likely to singe you. I am extremely loyal and when I say I will do something, I will do everything I can to make good on my word. But, when I fail in making good to it, or when I harm someone accidentally, I tend to feel a debt to them to make up for it, so I do not give out punishments lightly. I have a sort of pact with myself, you see, and it goes like this: "To make a person smile is more than worth my while!" I never leave a person unpaid for their actions, and be them good or bad, those people will receive what I perceive to be fair.

Have you run adoptables before?:
I indeed have! I am currently running a rather large OC design shoppe which has an adopt number of over 200 and counting, most of which are of my hand work. If you want to see this, please see my signature link. I have been running it for over a year now, have a fairly large staff, and I enjoy hosting events for it.

I have also been an artist in several other adoptables, and had another adopt back when I joined CS of dragons, dragon eggs, and hatchlings. It got to a large scale as well, but I came to shut it down due to dislike of my sloppy first linearts...xD

Why do you want to take over Mutatoes?:
Well, as you know, I was a guest artist for these fabulous adopts. I stood on the sidelines watching these incredible adoptables grow and flourish, and tried out for a few choice ones myself. I really feel like these adopts, the Mutatoes, has a legacy bursting at the seams to be released. It's growing exponentially in fanbase, it's designs are unique and stunning, and I do think that it has the potential to become the next JBD scale trend and remain popular. I partly want to take over because I want to be able to continue to see it flourish, and because I'd be all the more honored to be a part of the team as it soars.

Another reason want to take over the adopts because I feel a deep love of these little creatures. I fell in love the moment I saw them, and it was like a zing of adoration. I mean, look at them! They are precious! o3o I sadly haven't one of my own yet, but I won't complain - those who win these stunning creatures are the most phenomenal owners I have ever seen and give the mutatoes addictive attention!

I also want to take over because the Mutato is another medium of design I have fallen in love with. Once again, it is a completely original idea, and I have come up with dozens of ideas already that I wish I could bring to life. Yes, my style is worlds apart from yours, but I the possibilities are more endless than any other adopt I have seen. Because each stands greater chance of unique design.

Lastly, I have free time out my ears. After all, how else could I design so much if I was always busy and not addicted to designing?

Do you have all the programs listed above?:
I've got GIMP, which I believe will be a fine stand in for Adobe ImageReady. If it ends up not working, I am more than eager to install it. I have Flash, and yes I am ready to give you my email in a pm.

Anything else:
I wish everyone luck! Everyone who has applied thus far has great merits, and I know that in the end you will make the decision you see as best Akami! Ever if it is to shut down the adopts, they have already shaken the site with these precious babies!
