-->Welcome to the Acorn Forest, home to the friendly Acorn Kit species. Here you can adopt your own Acorn Kit to love and play with.

-->What is an Acorn Kit you might ask? They are a lovable species found specifically in this forest. An Acorn Kit (AK as we might call them) is a mammal that strangely grows from a large tree in the middle of these woods. They start out as a small Acorn which hatches into a kit, then a full grown, 9-inch fox-like creature. When hatched, a leaf sprouts out the top of their head, which will stay the same size until the age of 3, (years) marking the age of adulthood.

-->Acorn kits eat a variety of things, nuts, berries, vegetables, sweets, and certain kinds of meat. They also drink tons of water, due to being part plant. You must also be very careful of what your AK ingests, they can get sick very easily, and we wouldn't want that, would we?

Welcome to the Pound, this is were the Acorn Kits that are taken away are put up for re-adoption.
These Kits come with a fee to ensure that they are given to a caring owner. You cannot gift or trade a Kit
from the pound due to the fact that moving from owner to owner will confuse and possibly traumatize an Acorn Kit.

S T R I K E. S Y S T E M

-->Here is the list of people who have broken rules and have strikes, or people
who have been banned for breaking too many rules. Please do not ask people why they
have a strike/how they got it, it's embarrassing enough to just be on the list. Mods are the
only ones who can give out strikes/take them away, they can even give out multiple strikes
at a time. We don't like to do it, but we have to uphold the rules one way or another!

One Strike --> You have been warned, don't break anymore rules.

Two Strikes --> You cannot adopt from the next two litters, nor can you participate in any events.

Three Strikes --> A couple of your Acorn Kits are selected and put in the pound, you have one last chance to redeem youself.

-->After three strikes you are either permanently or temporarily banned, depending on the
reason for your strikes. Either way, all of your Acorn Kits are taken away and you cannot participate in
any events, or post on any of the AK threads for the given time. Whatever the circumstances, the bottom line
is, you don't want to be banned! Or even earn a strike for that matter!

mushrooms are used as a currency you can spend to get items
in the shop below. To get mushrooms, send a trade to Maralise,
and in return you will recieve a certain amount of mushrooms.
Please Be sure to add a message saying "Mushroom conversion"
or I will assume it's a gift and simply take it from you. No refunds!
