I'm so happy to add Habari to my always growing ahzenai clan! She is simply stunning and I adore her. Truthfully, though I have so many Ahz Habari here is my first vortex ahz, so honestly I have no idea how to react...

heee on another note, anyone know if there are/ will be any breeding slots opening? I have 2 pairs I've been thinking of possibly breeding ouo.

Quick update on the December Elemental:
My tablet had suddenly gone haywire on me, but I think it has something to do with my actual laptop and not the tablet itself, thankfully.
I'm running an antivirus program on it, and searching for the issue. If that doesn't work, then I'll be contacting a friend who is good with computers to take a look into its demented little hard drive.
So, I'm sad to say the Elemental will have to be postponed until roughly Sunday the 14th; only three days, right?
Go give Aeitou some love! He needs a home, and I'm sure more gorgeous Ahzenai will be released on the Oekaki Adoptions!
And I think it's safe to announce that this Elemental will be Darkness! Be warned, lightless environments brew darkened hearts and shattered souls....

not sure what kind of tablet you have but If you have a bamboo tablet sometimes computers like to delete your drivers for them, it can be fixed by re downloading them from their site. maybe your having a similar issue if not? ouo

Also, so to prevent this post from being spam, I am opening up to breeding slots! BUT! There is a catch!
One slot is for two owners (pairs in which each Ahzenai is owned by a different user), and the second slot is for a single owner (user owns both Ahz).
But, I'm gonna make this one interesting. To apply, you must tell me your favorite holiday memory; it can span from November to January, and it doesn't have to do with Christmas specifically. It can be your first time in snow, for example, or anything really! As long as it pertains to a holiday or the season in some way, shape, or form!

The cubs will come as a surprise on Christmas, so you have until the 20th to finish your forms! But the winners will not be announced! Instead, they'll be randomly posted on the 25th! <3

And, as usual!:

-I will open up two breeding slots per month, usually around the second or third week depending on school and life. Onyx may open up her own, and the same for Bear. If all of us open slots, then there will be around 6 available breedings.

-Adopters must compete for a breeding slot; they are completely free, but the competition will be tough.

-Do not: (a) ask when breedings will be open; (b) ask to reserve you a breeding slot; (c) post a form when breedings have not been opened; or (d) complain if you don't get a slot. I trust most of the people on the thread, but I'm putting the warnings out there just in case. If you do any of these, then you will not be able to order from the next breeding round (your form will be ignored).

-The Ahzenai you wish to breed MUST be in a real relationship. No one night stands, please XD

-Breedings ARE NOT limited to male-female Ahzenai couples. If you have two males or two females that are in a relationship and wish to have a cub, then that is fine since cubs are born of their parent's energies joining and not a physical joining.

-Cubs gain some personality traits and skill sets from their parents, in addition to their appearances. A cub's element is random and not affected by lineage.

Offering: Nukka huddled close to his beloved Shiiva. Caressing her lightly with his muzzle, taking in her softly glowing body, and attempting not to let his dark eyes linger too long on her broken-ness in the dim light. To him she was his everything, his love, his soul mate. He knew the moment he stept forth from the vortex and met those pale red eyes she was the one. Though many had approached him, he passed them all by for the female who lay softly sleeping beside of him. Still deep in her dreams Shiiva snuggled ever so slightly closer to his side, and a deep rumbling purr-like sound began filling the small cavern the ahz couple had made their home. Nukka nuzzled his mate once more, he had never wanted anything else but to make her happy. Adn he knew the one thing she held most dear to her heart was to one day raise a family. shifting his gaze slightly so he could just make out the glow of the vortex slowly pulsating over the waters beyond, Nukka sent out a silent prayer, Please, just this once look upon us with favor, not scorn and anger for our sins. Grant us a child, please this is the only thing I would give everything for. Slowly he let his head then his gaze fall from the vortex, hoping just this once, the odds would be in his favor.

Favorite Holiday Memory: ooh my favorite holiday memory eh?
Well I have many in my long list of favorites, but most of all would probably be the day I got my cat. It would have been about 12 or 13 years from this coming Christmas Eve that i first met the animal who would help shape most of my teenage and memorable child hood years. The quest to get him began the day my parent sat down and began disguising the age of our current Family pet, Maxseen the Ferret. At the time she was about 11 years old, quite an amazing age for a small mammal like herself. We could tell she was slowing down in general, and they had to face the fact, she was going to pass on soon. I had grown up with them, and they decided that since i was still fairly young, it would be best to get a second animal to help lessen the stress of loosing her. I should have caught on when my mom asked me if I wanted to go to the pet store about a month before Christmas, but i didn't, I thought we were going to get some 'presents' for her since she needed a lot more attention in her older age. While we were there I got caught up by the kitten pen, It was nothing more than a closet of sorts with a glass door. the only things inside were a well worn cat tree a litter box and a whole boatload of kittens. Naturally like any child I wanted to play with them, and I was over joyed to find my mother was willing to allow me to go romp with the little kitties! After about 20 minuets of just general kitty time, I had begun to favor this tiny little grey ball of fluff and spunk, I wanted him, but I knew my parents would never allow me to have a cat, so sadly I had to pack up and leave to go back home. Now lets fast forward a few weeks to December 24th. It was a special occasion my grand mother was in town to spend Christmas with us that year, and my dad was coming home form a long trip, (not to mention Santa's emanate visit as well!) so generally I was excited. Welp, dad came in and asked me to go put his briefcase in his room, and like a good bouncing daughter I did it with out question. The real surprise was when I came back out to the kitchenette area and there in the middle of the floor was this little familiar grey ball of fluff and spunk staring up at me with those big kitten blue-green eyes. He was terrified yet curious of his new found situation and home. And I myself was over joyed beyond belief that my parents would get me a kitten, it was almost unthinkable. Honestly this is were my memory of the event gets a little fuzzy, I think i was just THAT happy to have a Familiar. He and I grew up together you see, he would have been 13 this year, and I have to say I'll never forget him OR the moment I first met easily one of the most influential animals in my life. Even though it is now tainted by a slight bit of sadness, It's still my favorite holiday memory because you see when I miss him I think back on that time and the joy we brought each other from that day on. He found a home, and I found a best friend.

Favorite Holiday Memory:
Well my most favorite memory would be last month's Thanksgiving dinner. The reason for this would be because it was my very first Thanksgiving I ever had and the funny part is that it was with my friend and her family. We all came together and helped out in the kitchen. But we came across a problem, we didn't have a turkey. So instead we ended up having honey glazed ham which was the best thing I have ever tasted. We also made mashed potatoes with actual potatoes, green beans with bacon, cornbread muffins, and croissants. In the end we said our prayers and every Thanksgiving a different family member would say a prayer out loud and this year my friend's husband was the one to do so. Sadly I forgot what he said but it was funny. The awesome part is for Christmas we will end up eating a turkey since we had ham for Thanksgiving. XD
