There are basically two aspects of this design: the endless knot and snowflakes. I have included four markings modeled after the endless knot and about half a dozen tiny snowflakes. I stuck with light, wintry colors and simple, swirled designs to show the whimsy and joy of winter while still showing the foreboding undertones of the icy weather. My inspiration mostly comes form the fact that it's been freezing and it's supposed to snow tonight where I live.
