Welcome to Dragon Peak

Dragon Peak is a small little adoptable agency run on the top of a snowy mountain. They give small dragon's eggs away to visitors who happen to come by when there are eggs around. They breed dragons there and there is even a sorcerer trying his hand at making custom dragons with his magic. Sometimes when the center is running low on funds there will be auctions too. When a dragon is abandoned or taken back; they will put the dragon back up for adoption, but there is a requirement that must be met to ensure the dragon will have a better home. Although, there will be contests of various sorts just for the fun of it, and dragons are usually the prize. The dragons these eggs come from are a pygmy breed, just barely the size of a small dog. The center strives to provide healthy and happy dragons for the public to enjoy, as long as their rules aren't broken.

The rules at Dragon Peak are taken seriously and should not be ignored. There are important if you wish to keep your adopted dragons. Please read the rules carefully and follow them. If not, you will end up on the blacklist. You may or may not get a warning if you are at risk of getting on the blacklist, it depends on how severe the offending action is. I may change the rules later on, so it would be wise to re-read the rules from time to time.

Are the dragons here free?
Yes, if it is a free adoption. Any other dragons must be paid for in CS pets or won in a contest. Breeding is free as well.

How long is it until my dragon grows into an adult?
The egg stage will usually take five days the hatch, more or less. Hatchlings will grow into adulthood from 3-4 days after hatching.

How many eggs or growing dragons can I have at once?
Two, but you can only adopt one egg from each batch of eggs. Customs and contest prizes don't count though.

I posted a form for an egg, but I never got it. What happened?
Either you broke the rules or the litter you wanted an egg from didn't have anymore eggs left.

Can I choose what the looks of my dragon will be?
No, that would just ruin the element of surprise. If you want a dragon with specific looks, buy or win a custom.

I'm on the blacklist! What can I do to get off of it?
Nothing. Once you are on the blacklist, you are permanently on it. There is no way of getting of it, sorry.

Can I reserve an egg from a couple?
No, unless you own one or both of the parents of that litter.

Why did my dragon turn back into the last stage?
Sometimes Photobucket is weird and switches the stages around. Your dragon will stay at the right stage eventually, though.

When will I get my egg?
When all eggs have been adopted and I get around to it. I may be a bit busy to deliver eggs sometimes.

Do you need any mods or artists?
Not at the moment, no. And if I was asking for any staff, then there would be a mini contest to determine the new staff.

How come my dragon's siblings have grown, but mine hasn't?
Either the growth is not showing up on your computer yet or it just hasn't been grown yet. Don't worry though, they all grow eventually.

How often will you release new eggs?
Whenever I get the chance.

Can I wait to name my dragon until it has fully grown?
Yes, but don't go re-naming you dragon too much.

Do you want to be affiliates with my growables thread?

I don't like my dragon, can I change the way it looks?
Nope, as of now there is no way to change the appearance of a dragon.

Am I allowed to take my dragon out of my signature?
Yes, as long as you have it posted somewhere on CS.

Adoption at Dragon Peak is fairly simple. You fill out the form below the litter you would like to adopt from and you will be given the egg. Just remember that you may only have two growing dragons at a time and you may only adopt one from each batch of litters. The eggs will be handed out at a first come, first served basis, so be quick!

Breeding is currently: CLOSED

If you would like, you may breed a couple of adult dragons to produce a litter of six eggs. However, there are a few extra rules to be followed when breeding dragons.

Each couple may only be bred once.
A single dragon may only be bred four times.
You must own at least one of the dragons you wish to breed.
Same sex breeding is allowed, but all the offspring will be the gender of the parents.
Breeding within families is now allowed [ex: siblings cannot breed with each other, a mother cannot breed with any of her offspring]
You can breed with another user's dragon, but permission must be provided. [Unless it is one of my dragons] Quotes will not be accepted.
There will usually only be three slots open at a time for breeding, maybe less. There will be no more than three slots open at a time though.
If two people breed a pair of dragons, they will get to choose one egg each to keep. If a user breeds their own dragons, they would get to choose one egg to keep. The remaining eggs from the litter would then be put up for adoption.
All dragons being bred must be adults.

Here at Dragon Peak there is a top-notch wizard using his skills to make dragons look whatever way you want! However, there is a fee for using his skills. The wizard can make almost anything, but if he cannot then you will be notified. Cusstoms are usually first come first served, so order quick! There are just a few extra rules to keep in mind when ordering a custom.

This is Halloween!
Welcome to Dragon Peak's Halloween Event! It seems that the staff here have run out of regular eggs and dragons to give, and these scary and creepy dragons have been popping up! These pets are harder to catch, but we're here to please, just don't provoke these creatures. There will be plenty of games and contests during this festive event, and several prizes. There are different types of games, so I'm sure you'll find one that you enjoy. So sit back, relax, and play some games. Unless the spooky creatures catch you by surprise!
