What is a Mippi?

Mippi is a small hyperactive mammal closely related to pikas. The name 'Mippi' originates from the high pitched 'meep' sound they use to communicate with each other. Their body are short, covered in long dense fur to keep them warm in their cold tundra-like habitat. The horns on their head are covered in velvety fur and generally not harmful as they only use these to protect themselves in the nature. Mippis are naturally very social, living in a group of at least 2 individuals [though a group of 20+ are not a rare sight!], and help each other build a series of underground burrow to sleep in, raise their young, and hoard food for winter; such as grass hay, grains and seeds. Because of their fun and loving personality and small size, they are very popular amongst people who do not have much space for larger pet. Would you like to adopt one today?

Mippi name: Jake
His journey: For a small creature his journey are still big, full of giant mysteries, one Mippi would do almost anything to solve it. This is Jake, an Mippi. Whoever thought an small creature can do big things? For Jake, his journey are huge. Once a Mippi named Jake was walking in the forest to find some mysteries, Jake climbed up an tree to see an bigger view, "My! This is beautiful! Hmm, aha! There it is! A cave! Caves are always full of mysterious secrets!" Jake said. Jack jumped off and fell laying on his belly "OW!" Jake yelled. Jake ran to the cave not a long trip but, Jake stopped to the river to river and ran into the cave. "Hmm, this cave is a little quiet, a little too quiet..." Jake said. CRASH! Rocks covered the door! Pure black, Jake couldn't see an thing not even the closest thing next to him. Jake thought "How will I get out? Did someone block this door? Time for another mystery to solve!" Jake smelled something, burning. He saw a light, so Jake followed it. Jake sniffed to know where he was going, what burning was, fire! Jake got closer, he looked around. No one there, then he heard someone walking. "Hello?" Jake said nervously. "Hello!" A big bear said. "Did you block the door?!" Jake said shivering. "Nope! It just does that when I... cook some fish!" The big bear said happily. "Let me fix the door for you!" The big bear grabbed a touch and lighted it and broke the door. "Thank you, kind bear!" Jake said. The bear just smiled and walked into the cave. Jake said "What an adventure!" The end!

[Lollipop and Butter Beer's "house" I think of as like an advanced mouse hole, like what you might see in a little kids show in a "mouse house" with cardboard box cabinets, rag blankets, wooden block chairs, but everything a bit nicer. Cake would be like small pieces of sweet bread, and other food would mostly be seeds, hay and things Mippis eat and small pieces of human foods here and there (Like no chicken pot pie but maybe a pea or rice that they could eat but weren't likely to come by in the wild.]

Lollipop was on a journey, and adventure, a quest... to get cake.
Now Lollipop had never been on a real adventure, but this was one no doubt, it was Butter Beer's birthday and whoever promised to find a "cake" had dropped out at the last moment. Butter Beer's friends would start arriving in less than an hour and they needed cake.

Lollipop, being a Mippi, was unable to drive to any stores, let alone have a car, and nothing seemed good enough for him to ride because it was all either too big or impossible for a Mippi like him to use.
Lollipop ended up walking to the store.

Now Lollipop, lived in a city, where almost everything was in walking distance, but he wasn't a very active or fit Mippi at the time and his feet sore, and being out of breath, he flopped down two blocks away from his house, gasping for breath.

Lollipop managed to drag himself another block, and made it to a very small little bakery, but as he reached a paw out and tried to push the door open, his paw hit it hard but it did not move an inch, he back up a few steps, shaking his paw, mostly out of frustration. After a few moments, he lowered his head, the charge at the door, but right before the Mippi's horns and the door made contact he notices a "closed" sign hanging from the doorknob and realized the door was locked. Luckily for the him he slowed down and his horns barely touched the door.

A half an hour later, he reached another bakery even though it was open and the door was unlocked an animal Lollipop's size would never have been able to open it if it wasn't automatic. After about fifteen minutes Lollipop had gotten the bakers attention, begged for some cake, gotten a decent sized piece (for about half the size of what you might consider a Mippi-sized cake), left a dime on the ground that he had found a few weeks earlier.

Somehow Lollipop managed to get the cake there, somehow no one noticed him slide in and sneak the load onto the table and then come wish Butter Beer a "Happy Birthday!", somehow everyone managed to have a good time and at the end of the day, after the presents, the enjoyed the fresh-bakes caked, which tasted delicious, especially to Lollipop, who had worked hard for it.

What seems like nothing to a person or large animal can be a big task for something small like a Mippi, and for Lollipop, who is probably one of the laziest Mippis ever, for Lollipop, getting that cake was a journey!

[Sorry if the story seems to have low quality, seem unrealistic for the species Mippi, etc. I rarely write about things his size and assumed they'd be bigger (like the size of a rabbit) but then re-checked their size and had to re-write some stuff u3u]
