Female

Maru is quick witted and very sly, she's very mysterious and enjoys making others guess things about herself and her past, often saying very vague and she is playful and flirtatious. She is also cunning and resourceful, always managing to get out of tight spots, even being in a cage. She is also very brave, outgoing, and has a strong sense of adventure. She can be very manipulative when she needs to be and isn't afraid to get what she wants, even if the means she used were less than savory.
Background: Maru grew up alone, on her own, so she had to learn how to survive. She found it easy to get her way, especially with males, by flirting with them or distracting them so as to accomplish something that would get her closer to her goal. She can be very conniving.

Kitsuneko Chimera Name: Hotaru( ホタル ) which is Japanese for "firefly"

Gender: I see this beauty as a female.

Personality: Hotaru is very bubbly, and she loves to meet new people. She enjoys seeing others laugh and loves telling jokes. She is always bright and happy, and tries to always smile even is she's sad. She is very outgoing, and is a bit of a prankster. Hotaru is loyal, and will never betray anyone. She is a great friend because of this, and she can be trusted with any secret. She gets distracted easily though, and loves to chase bugs, especially fireflies.
Some think she is strange, but she doesn't mind. She is determined, stubborn, but sometimes she rushes into things without thinking. This tends to get her in a bit of trouble. She always has an escape plan though. She is a bit of a rebel, and likes to go places she's not allowed to. She's very curious, and loves to read mystery books. She doesn't have much self-confidence, and although she is usually happy and fun-loving, sometimes this lack of self-confidence can affect her.

Optional Backstory : Hotaru was always different from others. She loved to play-fight,and make others laugh. Some thought she was strange, but she didn't care. She never knew her parents, so she grew up alone. She started pranking and telling jokes to get attention. She lives alone now, but sometimes she helps out younger Kitsunekos.

Ari was born in ancient Japan, back when all things spiritual were worshipped like gods, not feared like they are nowadays...

For a inexperienced Kitsuneko like Ari, trying to avoid the humans that continually hunted his kind was proving close to impossible... and his head strong attitude didnt help either... Whenever a human approached him, unlike clever kitsunekos, Ari was face them head on, growling and using his fire, and that never really helped him to be honest, because many times he'd been trapped and hunted down because of this...

Coming to be known as the Wild Kitsuneko because of his seemingly aggressive attitude, Ari was lead to be constantly on the run from humans who, sadly, wanted to kill him, wether for bragging rights, or simply for his fur and magical properties...
