What is a Mippi?

Mippi is a small hyperactive mammal closely related to pikas. The name 'Mippi' originates from the high pitched 'meep' sound they use to communicate with each other. Their body are short, covered in long dense fur to keep them warm in their cold tundra-like habitat. The horns on their head are covered in velvety fur and generally not harmful as they only use these to protect themselves in the nature. Mippis are naturally very social, living in a group of at least 2 individuals [though a group of 20+ are not a rare sight!], and help each other build a series of underground burrow to sleep in, raise their young, and hoard food for winter; such as grass hay, grains and seeds. Because of their fun and loving personality and small size, they are very popular amongst people who do not have much space for larger pet. Would you like to adopt one today?

The old Mippi looked down at Corin, the old Mippi looked to frail to be able to be in such the cold weather. It was colder then it normally was here in the Artic. Corin stepped forward making sure he didn't touch the ol Mippi." I-i-i-i'm glad you came. it is getting unusually colder in the winters and summers. You must find out what i-i-is ca-ca-causing this chill to are small community of Mippi." He said with slight stutters here an there. Corin nodded knowing h that many of the younger Mippi were just growing in their full coats, it would be ahard winter for them if he couldn't find a way to solve it. He walked out of the small den." Thank you Elder. I shall find a way to stop this colder winter." He then dashed off, snow being tossed behind him as he ran. He didn't know what was causing this, but he thought he knew were the problem might be. He set forward toward frigid mountain. Not knowing for sure if this would work, but if he could see if the large ice crystal that controlled the weather here was the problem. It's just a quick excerpt of a cool story I thought would be nice to put in.

„Meeep! Huh? Ah, you want to know something about Fuero? Well, sure, I'll tell you something about him. Okay, let's- oh come on, what's the matter? Eh, you want to know who I am? No, I won't tell. But I'm someone who knows Fuero very well, so I'll be able to tell you some facts about him.
Fuero has, like many Mippis, much energy and is a kind of hyperactive. He could spend whole days running through forests or meadows, which is probably very annoying for some of the Mippis in the group he's living. Can you imagine a young Mippi playing with it's siblings? Then you know how Fuero can act during his "I-have-too-much-energy-"-times. After thoses days and in general, he sleeps much and deeply like a newborn Mippi, but if he's awake, then Fuero is always... there. From the first second until sundown he is in the spot and never seems to get tired. Also, Fuero loves to get new friends. He doesn't have a problem with strangers, starts to talk immediately and probably doesn't even know what the word shy means. He also loves to ask every kind of question, be it a philosophic or a funny one (And he can be veeery persistent if he doesn't get a pleasant answer...) He is a very humorous person that loves to make jokes with his friends, and it's easy for him to enjoy life - most of the time. But sometimes, all the energy seems to fade and he suddenly seems very melancholic, is talking about the Meaning of Life and stuff like that... can be very annoying, believe me. But that's Fuero. An energetic, a bit chaotic, humorous and a bit moody Mippi. And if you can accept and get along with this, then you maybe have a new friend.
