You guys ever thought about doing a dump? I mean some of the characters up here have been here for a looong time, maybe if you start putting a limit on how long they can STAY here, you'd get more circulation? Idk it seems like whenever I pop in the new adopts are taken up first and the old ones are left to just sit there anyways?

It could also just be that character adoption was a big phase and people are outgrowing it, or own waaay too many to take care of them all. I know that's my issue and why I stopped adopting. I don't have time for all the characters I have adopted/bought/created myself. Which is sad, I wish I did. :c

Trust me i know how it is, i either don't have the time to sketch or i'm to poor to actually get art, sucks which is sorta why i stopped adopting from character threads. so i can understand that.

However, the thing is, characters will always be in demand, but its trying to pick the interest of a person that would seem to be the hard part. the spike of adoptions/donations was probably due to a character adopt frenzy, so i can't argue with that.

I'm thinking after so long there should be a "return to user" but one issue is, some have changed names or deleted their account or don't even use that account no more, so we get sorta stuck with some characters. to make up for that, we do revamps, though i suppose we could change the adoption limit for older designs for one, to 2 or 3 just to find them a home.

kennel # 13 got revamped, I'll also be moving some designs who have no forms to kennels who don't have anything in them to make it a bit more organized.

If we have trid to cotact the owner but got o reponse what should we do (and they havent posted since 2012)? I wana make one more pleasing but it says to ask before chagig the desigh.

Maybe it should be a new rule? Like tell those that donate that after say... (idk, you been here longer, you should find a time limit) like a month or something, they have three days to recall that pet before it's just removed. Most people who make adoptables keep the image somewhere so it's not like they're giving you the ONLY image of that character. Like I said you guys should make the time limit up because I have no idea how long a character would be acceptable to keep up on the front page before you guys have to start revamping it every few weeks.

i really dont see a need in doing this though unless they really have overpopulated the kennels? I myself have revmped some that are still there and i know i wouldn't mind doing so over and over until they got a home.

@Tripp I like the idea of making the limit more if you're going for older characters, that would probably get them a home. Like a few of them someone might interweave their stories, hell even I can think of some pairings between the lot on the front page.
I know two for sure have been here since BEFORE I went on hiatus back in... either july or august, I mean that's...4 maybe 5 months at least that they've just been sitting here getting repeated revamps and zero interest from people. Some of the others seem familiar but I can't say for sure. :o

Though I see what you guys mean, against my better judgement, #6 is catching my eye every time I pass by it and I think it's been here for awhile too lol. The old ones still have it. xD

Name You'd Choose for It: Tajo
Species/Breed: A mixture of colors and breeds has produced Tajo, a mutt of some sort. The genes of diverse wolves and dogs lead to the unique color of his fur and the strange markings. He's not sure what to think of his family tree. Sometimes he worries that others will criticize himself for it. He can't change it, though, so he does his best to be at peace with it.
Gender: A strong and brave male.
Reason You Want It: Tajo looks... beautiful, to say the least. He's a very handsome guy and sort of resembles Srebrny. Taking both of these things into account, I decided he'd be a good start in looking for relations. He'd be her brother. I would order art of them, write about them as I have Srebrny, and help him find a nice mate to have pups with.
History/Background/Other: Born with two siblings, Tajo grew up with a lot of love from his parents and his sister. Their other pup, a brother, was somewhat quiet. He didn't much talk to the others and preferred to explore alone. His sister, Srebrny, was very energetic, however, and he fell somewhere in the middle. He was very mature all the time. All he ever really wanted was order, and that was what he tried to maintain. That was very difficult with a sister like his. She was always running around causing trouble, and young Tajo had troubles keeping up with her. Now he's much faster. She did teach him a bit, like reminding him that everyone needed a bit of fun, but he knew he would always be the same. He was like the police. No rules should be broken around him. Everything was serious, unless it wasn't meant to be. Down time was the only time he would relax and just chill. When they were eight months old, they had moved to a new territory by other packs. Everyone lived under a truce. There was no trespassing, no stealing, and everyone seemed to abide by the rules. They held a meeting. All the pups really were concerned about was meeting others of their age, so they found someone that looked sociable and ran over to them. Tajo met a somewhat snobby pup. She held a certain charm, even if she wasn't the kindest thing around. They met and talked. Srebrny realized then that her brother wasn't getting onto her as much, and that he wasn't around too much. She started requesting he play with her more, but he always said he was busy with his new friend. It saddened her. One day, she was pestering him to do something with her, but he was focused on the girl and completely ignoring her. She jumped onto his back when anger got to her and demanded he pay attention to his family. The female he was with knocked her off. Somehow, the loving sister stumbled and fell into the river. She eventually made it to the bank. Water weighed down her pelt as she lie on the bank, panting heavily. The cloudy day made it take awhile to dry her fur. Tajo apologized and started splitting time better, but he still visited the girl. He began trying to have more fun then too, so as to better relate to his sister and the other pups. He's now grown to be three years old, and is mates with the female.
