so i decided to enter this contest. i don't know if i'll make another or stick with this one. hopefully it's good enough to get 3rd at least, i tried to make sure it isn't plain and i t isn't too difficult to replicate. i decided to leave the tail alone for this reason. oh well. also the timer's a bit off, i had to help mom clean up the leaves in the yard. here's a bit of an artist's log if your curious about my mind.

hmmmm... grey base, okay, i can work with that. i'll make it dark grey, so it doesn't look neon, but it still give a little bit of a glow effect to the colors.... -does the hair first- alright i'll make it greyish purple and just have random blue marks here, heh... -spends 15 minutes on it- alright now to the tail band... -finishes it- it looks kind of indian to me... -leaves it anyway 'cause it looks cool- uh, wings... i'm so sorry i have to do a little smudge here, it looks so cool when the wings fade to a different color >.< -finishes the wings- lol, i'm just experimenting with swirls aren't i? uhm, let's make a purple flower mark 'ere, and i don't know what this squigglie line with circle is... -leaves it there- and i'll put two bands on the legs~! -looks at kitten- your eyes are so adora- wait. i can make her misty blue eyes into this character's eyes! yes. wait. i haven't done much with the ears, darn it. -finishes- it looks kind of neon... no not really 'cause it's soft colors, not bright colors.... right? ;3;
