I hate to add to the madness, but I can't stay quiet about this.
This is absolutely massive.
The reason for closing, as far as I have read from the last many pages discussing this issue, is that Apple doesn't want the species to die out - rather, close while it is still strong. This doesn't make a strand of sense to me. When do you envision this species dying out? Every adopt put up has pages of forms. I would rank this species as the 3rd most popular and in-demand species of CS, only beat out by Jellybean Dragons, and Jewel Mane Dragons, basing that upon the frenzy of posts on each and every adopt. Other species that are just as beautiful and well-designed as Kiamaras have considerably less posts for adoption, and just not as many people interested. Kiamaras have a wildly strong community, and an even stronger fan base of people desperately wanting one for their own.
And another point that I want to bring up and probably will get slaughtered for is the staff themselves. You guys are an amazing team of people, and you keep putting out adopts when you can, but there are quite a few problems with the way you guys work. Starting with the nursery here; I have been stalking the nursery for months for an opening, and no slot has been opened in quite a while. Nursery artists seem to be ignoring their duties there. I understand that real life comes first, but at some point in months and months of expanses of time, there will always be time to do your job. You were specifically hired for that job, and you have a duty to fufil.
Same point goes for the Kiamara event. I understand that got messy, and tons of stuff happened, and you guys certainly needed some time off from that land of crazy. And that's fine. You guys took your break, and that's good. But what now? No one has done anything on the event in quite a while. It appears that everyone is procrastinating, and not doing the things that need to be done. Yes, again, real life comes first, great, I understand. But come on. You guys knew it was going to be a lot of work doing that event, and you tackled it head-on in the beginning. Now that it's the end, no one is doing anything. The bank has been closed for a long time. The shops have been closed for a long time. Nothing has been updated. You guys all have a responsibility to fulfill on here. And please don't tell me that people on here are just internet people. That's like the saying 'internet friends' and people's parents telling them they're not real. Every single user on here is a real, live human being. Every one of us who were part of that event have been waiting. Hundreds of individual people. I understand real life has its demands, but so do your duties as a Kiamara staff member here on the community of CS.
I'd really prefer if my questions don't get picked apart and publicly humiliated like the last response. All I hope to get out of posting this is for the staff to be more responsible, the nursery to be open more often than never, and the event to be tidied up. Please read my message, hear my voice, consider my opinion, then move on.
Thank you for your time.
