What happens with the overdue mothers? Shouldn't they actually have top priority?
edit:: I really don't ask this in a rude way, I was merely just wondering.

The only thing with this is that there are no "over due" mothers. Kiamaras are pixels, and if you wish to push their pregnancy past the due date in RP land you may, but that has no effect on what say the artist has or how deep of a say they get in an artist's decision.

The reason for this is because that it's honestly quite easy to say "My kiamara is overdue!" Where is the proof? You obviously don't have an exact date of conception, as once more, they are pixelated characters. ^^

I don't mean this rudely at all, but what made you(and the staff) decide to make this decision? I'm just curious and I'm sure others are too.

What happened to those customs awarded in the art contest during the event?

Ah, I also have a question. Why did you decide to close the nursery as well? Sorry if it's too blunt of a question.

Kiamaras would have died anyways. Now I know that would have been probably farther into the future than just 500, but I wanted them to end now, while they were going strong. I didnt wan't them to dwindle out and just become a messy craphole and just be forgotten.

I am not sure what customs you are referring to? I'm fairly certain that I made customs that should have been rewarded- unless I have forgotten something.

Because the nursery would become a breeding frenzy where people would only be breeding just to get a kiamara, since it would be the only way to get them.
Don't say "no we wouldn't do that" because yes, you would. (not directing that at you personally, by you i mean the community)

And everyone, remember. This isn't happening tomorrow. We have about 130 kiamaras to go. Its going to take a few months, at least. Don't freak out now, its stressing me out a lot.

I really hate to ask another question, I don't want to stress you guys out anymore, but I really want to know the answer to this: What about the items like the Binkie and Twin Potion which require the nursery to be used?

I have had long term plans for how I want to use those, but I won't rush my kias just to be able to still use them before the nursery closes...
Leaving this account.
I just... need a clean start.

I have a question though, the coin shop I last saw was open before the art competition ended, and so I never got to spend my coins or use them, will I still have a chance to do so? I don't want all that art I did for them to be wasted uwu

I can't say I'm not upset, but I know you have your reasons. One thing, however, quite bothers me. I honestly think the nursery should stay open. Because if two Kiamaras become mates after they close, they may want babies. I guess that's just my reasoning. Also, there's the rule where Kias must date for two months before mating, and be mates for two months before having babies. If you get a Kiamara soon before they close, you won't have that opportunity. Just my reasoning.

We honestly thought about keeping the nursery open, but you guys have to keep in mind a few users can ruin it for all of you. We want Kiamaras to have a nice long run, and then stop.

Keeping the nursery running would only cause havoc. With the little time artists have, they'd be pressured into creating babies for a closed species. Not to mention you'll always have those users who will complain and gripe over how "slow" they are or how "half asked" it is.

It's something we decided on as a team, and we get how you all feel towards it, but you have to look at the downfall of it all.

In the meantime, chill. 130 ish away? Come on now.
