-Neravontii(Near-a-von-T) | The Main Sub-species of the Neravontii Capturing Facility and Adoption Agency
The Neravontii are a large species found on the planet Vashta. Originating from the larger more powerful, Deravontii. Neravontii are relatively mellow compared to their founders. Neravontii were imported to earth and when arriving, many managed to escape the handlers onto earth. Populations are growing as we speak.
Anatomy
When a baby neravontii, known as a foal, is born they are around 120 centimeters tall the biggest foal being marked at 129 centimeters. Female neravontii usually give birth to one foal but twins and triplets have also been documented. Within the first hours foals struggle to stand and are extremely wobbly, they don't fully know how their hands and feet work and can be quite comical to watch. Foals walk on the bases of their hands and feet until around 2 weeks of age. Around the 2 weeks they will begin learning how stand using the ends of their fingers after they have mastered, or think they have, they start to run and mock hunt with their parents and fellow herd members. At one month they are fully grown and can reproduce!
The neravontiis skin is like that of a persons but with a layer of extremely fine, dense hair. Neravontii have slim equine like heads but are lacking eyes as evolution deemed them unnecessary. Although the eyes aren't present neravontii have excellent "vision", and are fully aware of their surroundings thanks to heat sensors pits located just above the nostrils along with the fur like sensors in their ears. These sensors are highly sensitive and can detect shifts in the environment to help find prey and sense other predators. Neravontii are very wary of touching their sensor tufts as they don't grow back and can weld them visionless! Neravontii have 7 airways total. The nostrils can be used, like a humans, for breathing and smell. Neravontii also have two large airways, one on each side of their chest for breathing with smaller airways just above in front of their shoulders. These holes can be closed when not in use to prevent foreign materials from entering their airways. Neravontii have two retractable k9s on their upper part of the mouth, used for hunting and defense. Because of their lacking fur, the Neravontii use the space on their head where the eyes would be located to collect and regulate heat throughout the neras body. In cold climates Neravontii could freeze to death if the space is covered for an extended period of time. Neravontii have very similar hands to people, the difference is the strength. A neravontiis hands are very powerful to allow them the easily climb trees and other structures. Their feet are similar to primates, and on the ends of their tail there are, normally, three 'fingers' that allows them to grip and hold things. Neravontii have long thin bodies for running at high speeds, which top out at around 60mph. Adult Neravontiis range around 173 centimeters up to 204 centimeters tall.
Eating Habits
Neravontii prey on small animals and birds. But can easily hunt in small packs to take down larger animals such as dogs, housecats, deer, and even horses and other livestock. When food is really running low they have also been seen eating insects and vegetation, and wont hesitate attacking people nearby. Vegetation such as moss, leaves and branch limbs are foraged for regularly and sick Neravontii are noted to be seen eating large amounts of moss to help easy a hurting belly.
Vocalization
Neravontii have a wide range of vocalizations that they like to use. The most popular being the death curdling screams to signify that they are around, this is similar to a higher pitched horse neigh or a human child. An agitated Neravontii can show their displeasure by slow, deep grumbling growling noise with the occasionally distress snort. Out in the wild its been observed that Neravontii signal to others that they are near by fast loud whooping noises, that would be similar to the noise of a zebra. They also do this while on hunts to tactically take down a large prey animal.
Habitat
Neravontii have been found in all types of climates. From hot climates to cold climates they do well in almost any, although certain types don't far well in certain climates. For example racing type neravontii have a harder time in colder climates because of there thin frame. Although racing type neravontii can survive in colder climates with help from people you wont find wild race types where it snows.

Females
-Female Neravontii are commonly know as Mares. Any female, unless stated otherwise, can be bred. Females generally only have one foal per covering but twins and triplets have been documented. In order to breed, females must be fully trained and have two art pieces of said female interacting in some manner with the owner. Owner can choose to contact a stud Stallion or can contact a stallions owner inquiring for a cover. Once breed females cannot breed for one month, and starts as soon as the foal is born. Females cannot be spayed.
Gelded Males
-Otherwise known as Geldings. Gelded males cannot be bred or be studded out. But are very good company and can be useful in events of all types!
Males
-Known as Stallions. These neravontii are primarily used for racing and speed events, stallions are unpredictable until a proper bond between owner is formed. In order to own a Stallion, the person interested must own at least one fully trained Neravontii in order to apply. Stallions can be studded out by owner or advertised on the agency. If for stud all profits will go to the owner of the stallion. Stallions do not have to wait any time length after breeding, but can only cover 5 times in their life time becoming sterile. Some stallions have documented being able to cover more foals but most are still born. Breeding slots can be awarded threw events and shows!
**Stallions can be Gelded at any moment but I or the appropriate artist must be informed**

~ARTIST/GUEST ARTIST Coloring Rules~
Neravontiis must have some type of striping, visibly, in the eye sockets. Neravontii born lacking striping result in still born neravontii. Striping is a must! Nails can be done in the neravontiis primal scratch paint colors or the natural coloring from the coat color around it. Sensor tufts are usually the color of the neravontiis scratch paint but can also be any other color located in their coat, usually being a bright color. The tufts are never the same colors as the surrounding coat hair. The guidelines here must be followed or you will be asked to fix the problems.

-Coat Colors-
All base coats for neravontii are like that of a horses. They come in all the same colors of horses besides some special colors not yet found. When breeding neravontii its best to remember that parent color matter. For example breeding two black neravontii will definitely yield a black foal, verses breeding two browns may insure either a brown or a black. Grandparents will also play a key roll as colors may jump a generation, or two! Some neravontii carry color genes. This morphs the existing coat color making it tint the color of the gene they carry, this tint can be anywhere from strong to weak and varies from neravontii to neravontii. Genes come in all colors and tint intensity isn't factored by parents and appears fully random. These color genes can be pasted from parents to foal and mixing to neravontii with this gene can cause foals to come out with the gene color to be a mix of the two. Threw selective breeding new coat colors can pop up some even mimicking Vashta born neravontii!

-Markings-
A vast array of markings old and new have been recorded and named here at the agency. One of the most common markings for a neravontii to have is "scratch paint". Scratch paint comes in many colors and can be bright or dull depending of the neravontii. Neravontii scratch paint can vary from minimal scratch paint to heavy scratch paint depending on the markings of the parents and grandparents. For example breeding a neravontii with minimal scratch paint to a neravontii without scratch paint, will give you a foal with none to minimal scratch paint. Whereas breeding two neravontii with minimal scratch paint may give you minimal to moderate markings and so forth. This is true to all markings when bred. Few neravontii have hidden marking mutations and special factors that can only be found when breeding with selected nera. These must be breed out to be seen and may cause new markings to be documented!
Common Markings Include; Paints like that of horses, Oreo, Band, Splash paint, Roan, Appaloosa, Cloak, Buck stripe, Hood, Dun, and Fox.
Uncommon Markings Include; Bronze, Striking, Ork, Chimeric, Vitiligo, and Etching around white markings.
Coat Mutation Effects
Coat Dilution can be carried without showing any signs on the mare on stallion, and will only be noticed in foals produced, neravontii with light colored striping on a light eye socket color should avoid breeding with know carriers of Dilution as it can dilute so far to erase any striping on the foal causing a still born foal. Inverted Markings sound like they are. With inverted marked neravontii the mutation causes normal dark point markings to become light point markings and cause bronzing to shine darker instead of lighter.
