He heard feet on the ground. The beat was odd, like the creature only had two legs. Oreon turned to see what it was coming from.
A strange being was ten tail-lengths behind him, holding a stick made of some shiny material. Orean would later learn this stick was called a "gun", and the creature was a "human". The two-legged thing held the stick up, squinted, and pulled a little twig coming off the big stick.
A loud BANG filled the air; a tiny, hot piece of the shiny stuff hurtled towards Oreon. He tried to dodge, but the thing he would later know as a "bullet" clipped the end of his tail. Orean jumped; that had really hurt. He turned back took a running start for flying, gaining speed untill he could spread his wings and jump up.
Once he was flying, Orean didn't stop for hours; when he did, it was because he was hungry and tired. He was trying, unsuccesfully, to catch an elk, when the voice of a female startled him.
"Hi, there," she said. "I'm Rhea. Who are you?" she asked, not unkindly. Orean told her his story. She listned calmly to every word. When Orean was finished, she told him all about humans and thier guns and traps, and how to avoid them. The two became very good friends, and eventually mates.
Oreon now lives with Rhea and thier two children.

Rhea was raised by humans in a zoo, although she was born in the wild. When she was almost two, the zoo burned down. Rhea escaped unharmed. She found herself a cave, learned how to hunt, and stayed on her own untill she was almost two and a half, when she found Oreon trying to catch an elk. She asked him who he was, so he told her. Rhea then educated him on humans, their weird behavior, and their hunting tools. She is now about four, and lives with Orean and their two cubs.

*Name:The one on the left is Moon, The other is Sun.
*Gender:Both are female.
~Age:Both are one and a half.
~*Bio/story:
Sun and Moon are the cubs of Rhea and Orion. They are very playful. Sun is usally more enegetic in the daytime, and, you guessed it, Moon is a night-owl, so to speak. The twins have a very strong bond, often knowing when the other is in trouble without being told.

Hey guys. I'm having a crummy day, and so I thought it'd be best to get all the regrets off of my shoulders. I've wronged you many times before, and would like to sincerely apologize for that.
