So, I'm going to have a contest of sorts, a game, that will be open until tomorrow night for entries.
The winner receives an animated squirrel of a Halloween design they choose!

What you have to do:
Write a story based off of your trick-or-treating squirrel! It could be about a night of trick or treating, or their most memorable moment of trick or treating, or something to do with Halloween! Creativity is the best!

Rules:
Has to be at least 2 paragraphs (each paragraph containing at least 6 -complete- sentences ///sorry about this, I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi-ish)
Only one entry per person!
You can edit your entry!
Anyone can enter!

Story: Once upon a time, there was this little trickster squirrel named Jamie. She loved collecting witch hats and wore one all the time, even though many people gave her strange looks. Every halloween she'd go to every halloween store and by one of every witch hat there, and wear the one she liked the most for the entire month of October. One day, while Jamie was cleaning her hats, a strange voice whispered in her ear So you like witches..? Hm? She spun around as fast as she could after hearing it, a curious look on her face. "Who's there?" Jamie called out, scanning the room in which held her witch hats. Before she knew it, a dark purple, nearly black, figure appeared in the door way. It's eyes glowed an array of colors as they stared into hers. The creature watched her "Do you like witches?" It asked in a strangely high yet low voice. Jamie raised her eyebrow slowly, ready to run "Yeah..?" she said in an unsure tone. The thing grinned at her and moved in closer "Congratulations.." it whispered again in her ear. A strange black cloud surrounded the two, and by the time the cloud had vanished the creature was gone. Jamie was frozen in complete confusion, what just happened now? Who was that?.. Though, just as she realized it, she had been turned into a real, living witch. And ever since that day, the little trick witch named Jamie forever haunted Halloween, playing pranks and scaring all trick-or-treaters that dared come upon her doorstep.

Story: It was Halloween night, Willow push the lid of her pitch black coffin off and climbed out. She yawned as she made her way to the big heavy wooden door. She opened the door and made her way outside of her castle. The castle has been there for 1000 years, it didn't look brand new like how she remember. When she was born the castle was build for her to live in. The amazing shine in the moonlight. Unfortunately, after 1000 years, your castle isn't going to look all that great. When she walked outside, the cold air floated all around her, the beautiful moonlight light up the dark night. It was time for her to meet up with her other vampire friends and go trick or treating! Of course, since she was a vampire, she didn't need a costume. The moon was about half way through the sky when she arrived to the huge dead oak that she and her other friends meet. "Finally! You took up half of our trick or treating time!" Said her friend, Mark. She looked around, she saw her other friend Lilly, but where was Frank? "Hey where's Frank?" Asked Willow. "He said he wanted to go to a haunted house tonight, but I wanted to trick or treat, so he went by himself." Answered Lilly. "I want to go to a haunted house!" Willow said with excitement. "Fine, but can we be there for like, 20 minutes, I want to trick or treat." Mark said then turned around to walk towards the haunted house. Willow heard the crunch of fall leaves as she walked. They reached the haunted house 10 minutes later. "Now lets have a quick look and get out, then go trick or treating! Last years candy is almost out!" Said Mark. Willow was the first one in. A chill ran down her spine. Something was wrong, but she couldn't put her finger on it. She turned around to see her friends gone. "Guys?" Willow looked around but couldn't find them anywhere. "leave..." Whispered a voice. Willow looked around but could see nothing. "Leave now, or else." Willow then started the run towards the door, but a ghost blocked the way out. "going somewhere?" Asked the ghost. Willow let out a high pitch scream and ran the other way. "Ow, Willow, I always knew you could scream loud, but, ow!" Willow turned around to see her friend Frank. "Ha! We got you Willow!" Lilly said as she came out from behind a table. "Where's Mark?" Asked Willow. "He went home sick, so we had to do it without him." Lilly then started to laugh. "Go away" Mark looked at the others. "Did you guys say something?" He asked. "No" They both replayed. They all ran out of the haunted house screaming in horror. "Hehe." Mark laughed as he came out of the shadows. "Suckers!"

Story:
Gimli, ever since he was a little boy, had been the runt. This is one of the reasons why he loved Halloween, he could dress as a mighty dwarf warrior! He could leave his insecurities behind and be the bravest, strongest, most amazing dwarf of all the squirrels. This year started just as all the others had; get his costume from a dusty box in the back of the closet, apply his fake beard and dress in the rest of his terrifying costume, take up his battle axe and start out to conquer the neighborhood. He walked silently behind his older siblings for a few houses, always getting his candy last. Until, like always, they practically forgot he was there. It was in this moment that he slipped away and started going by himself to the many houses of their neighborhood. Without having to be slowed down by the slowness of the group of his siblings he finished so quickly it was only slightly dark. He hurried back home to dump his candy out on his bed. After a thorough inspection of his candy he grabbed a couple, stuffing them in his pocket, and went out again.
Since he had already gone to all of the houses close to his he had no where to go. He walked along the sidewalk shuffling his feet wondering what to do. Then he had an idea! A crazy, outlandish, scary idea! He could go out of their neighborhood to the houses farther away. He had never been that far away with his siblings, let alone by himself. He was hesitant but when he felt his empty bag just waiting to be filled he shrugged and said, "I'm big enough! I'm a Dwarf warrior! Time to conquer new lands!" He started at an excited scamper outside of the little neighborhood. When he got to the next neighborhood he was shocked at how big it was! It was almost twice the size of his families! He cheerfully started around, getting more and more candy. But soon his bag was completely full! He turned around to head back home and realized with a shriek that he was completely lost!
He stumbled around in the ever growing darkness helplessly. He felt like he was just going in circles, round and round. He was sure he would never find his way home. He finally just stopped and sat on a rock next to a giant tree, slouching his bag to the ground and letting his face fall into his hands. He was so cold, tired and scared. Silent tears fell as Gimli sat there on that dark Halloween night. He looked up when he felt a slight tap on his shoulder. His eyes were blurry from the tears and he wiped them so that he could see clearly. There was a momma squirrel looking down at him with big worried eyes and her baby in a sash across her middle. Her voice was sweet and tender as she asked him, "Sweetie, are you lost?" All Gimli could do was nod his head helplessly and clutch his candy bag to his chest. The lady asked him, "What's you're name sweat heart?" He managed to stammer out, "GGGiimmmllii." She tapped her chin lightly for a second in thought and then smiled as she realized what she had been thinking. "You're a long way from home little boy. But, lucky for you I happen to be an old friend of your mother." she held her hand out to him and his tiny hand was engulfed into hers as she started leading him back home.
They walked for a very long time it seemed but finally he recognized his house up the path. He brightened and ran to the door, spilling some of his candy on the way to the door. As he burst through the door he head several exclamations of relief and he was swept up into several sets of arms. The words, "I was so worried about you!" "You scared me to death!" and "thank goodness." filled the air around him. He was being hugged by his whole family. When everyone finally settled down they asked what he was thinking he answered simply with a bright smile, "I was going on an adventure!" And he raised his battle axe(oops kinda forgot he had it hehe) to emphasize his statement. The whole room burst into laughter and he was never forgotten in the shadows of Halloween again.
