I would like to adopt!
Number: 5

Design Change: Anthro
Name: Bethy (Runt/Munchkin)
Species: Mutt/Mongrel
Personality: Tomboy with a side of Sassy behavior. Bethy has a short-temper and can be a big problem if you somehow push her buttons.
Likes: Long books, poetry, hard-core spots and elegant dresses.
Dislikes: Being told what to do, getting treated like she is a little girl, olives, and other things that get on her nerves.
Background: Bethy wasn’t always the tomboy, street smart, little pretty face who always got her way. Growing up in the shadow of three(3) older sisters can put a tow on a young girls mind as well as the fact that she was the only one in all her sisters that never got to meet her father. A classic case of pup born out of wet-lock. Mother fell in love with the town mutt, but the mutt didn’t have the guts to marry her mother. Leaving a shadow of their love behind, Bethy. Around the age fifteen(15), Bethy wanted out. Out of the home she was trapped in, being treated like no one cared and everyone just knew her as her mothers’ mistake. She wanted to make her own name for herself, something that she and her family would be proud of.

The young girl didn’t really find what she was looking for, getting into more trouble then good and being taken under the wing of a fellow mutt. He showed her the ropes about the streets and how to survive. Bethy caught on real quick, finding herself on of the forgotten. The children that no one looks for after they run away from home.

No one seemed to call her Bethy anymore, besides Peter, the mutt that took her in. He calls her Bethy all the time or sometimes Munchkin. But if she wasn’t with Peter, she went by Runt. Because she was not very tall and seem to be seen as the wink link of a lot of the thing that she helps with.

But, she hasn’t forgotten about her family, she was determined to succeed in her original mission and make her mother proud.
One way or another.

----------------------------
Why was I out here still? I can’t remember any longer. Its been over a year and the hope of doing something for Ma seems like a slim to none chance, but Peter wont let me talk like that in front of him. Last time I brought it up he tried to hush me with his finger but I kept on going and he left me standing there in the alley . . .

“But you don’t understand Peter, nothing I’m doing on the streets is good enough for her, it will never be enough unless I do something that will make her proud of me.”
I stared at him as he just muttered something under his breath and turned away.
“Don’t you get it Munchkin? You’ll never going to do anything that you think is worth it unless you go and tell her. Or better yet, why don’t you just forget about telling her. All you do know a days is complain about that your not doing enough.”
He touched my cheek as turned around to face me, but I felt his fingers slip away as I signed. I couldn’t do that to my mother. I wanted her to love me like she did my sisters.
“I can’t stay . . .”

But before I could say anything else, Peter had his coat buttoned up and already down the alley, turning the corner. Why did it hurt so much in my chest, like I was about to cry, but the tears refused to come out? Even my sobs stayed quite until Peter’s foot steps could not been heard and I was alone again, till the morning.

Name:
Castor and Pollux
[please note: these are the actual names in Greek mythology These two names are being used instead of the less common Iabal and Ivbal . This being said, Iabal and Ivbal are nicknames for Castor and Pollux, so they may be swapped now and then.]
Mithuna and/or Gemini [the pair together]

Gender:
Male

Species:
Wolves

Personality:
Castor and Pollux are nearly one in the same, the twins share very similar qualities, almost so much so, that if it weren't for their colors, one might not be able to tell the two apart. The pair are not only able to adapt to changes around them, but they can use those changes to their advantage in a pinch. They are also extremely clever, using every resource to solve various issues. Along with this whit, they have astounding knowledge of the world around them, they bask in the information passed along from elders through stories, as well as what they are told. While they may miss information here and there, they rarely let anything escape them. Between the two wolves, they retain most of any information told in their pack. The twins are incredibly youthful, even when they were no longer pups, the two were always lively, getting into trouble. Where ever one was, the other was not far behind. While Castor is typically a little more adventurous, Pollux thinks about the outcomes of their adventures, though never hesitates to follow his brother.

On the Negative side of things, The pair do not simply run around on a free whim. Their actions are often hindered by the pair's nervous and tense nature. They often consider things deeply, and if there appears to be a risk they may pursue with excess caution. While Castor is more out-going, he still reserves a level of caution for new activities. To go with this, the two wolves are very dependent of each other as neither brother has ever been away from the other for more than a moment. This crutch could easily be called their fatal flaw.

Likes:
The two prefer being exposed to the elements more than anything. They love to explore and stick their noses into anything. In the middle of a storm, if one were to watch the pack, they would find the twins missing, as Castor and Pollux would be out in the rain. They love each other's company, and though they get along well with others, they always prefer to be by their own. They have an especial fondness for water and wind, perhaps why they prefer to be out in the rain.

Dislikes:
While they may enjoy the rain bit of a storm, they have zero interest in being out in the thunder and lightning. Iabal and Ivbal generally do not take kindly to being forced apart and may lash out at those who do try to separate them. They also do not enjoy seeing others in pain, especially each other. Perhaps their biggest dislike though, is when one brother is confused for the other. Although they may be twins who share everything, they look different enough that one should be able to tell them apart.

Background:
Mother; you bade us farewell at such an early age... you left us alone to tend to ourselves and live. Don't wonder why we are one in the same... It wasn't your fault. We only wish, wherever you are, that you are loved as much as we love you. Things here on Tera, are, well, same as when you left. We have grown strong and sleek. We are smarter now, the elders praise us for retaining their knowledge at such a young age. Your blessed ice-eyes watch us, your frosted breath fill our lungs, and your iron-strong heart pounds within our chests. You are forever with us, even if you cannot be with us.
_..-.._..-.._..-.._

As Castor sat on the ground, staring wistfully at the rising moon, his lips parted and breath flowed out. He gave no inclination that he'd noticed anyone else approach other than uttering a single word once the wolf sat beside him.
"Look."
The second wolf, a darker shade compared to Castor's sleek silvery grey, didn't even turn to recognize that he'd been spoken to, he just blinked once and smiled, then replied.

"The moon is small tonight. It is hiding from us."
The two looked at each other. If not for the colors and markings you wouldn't be able to see a difference in the two. They were twins, clearly.
"Iabal... Why are you here? The games are by the elder's ring."
Castor just shrugged a bit and grinned as he looked towards his brother and stood, his fur dropping much of the dirt.

"You already know why."
He was being short with his sibling, but his voice continued to flow without any sign of being rude. He walked in a circle around his brother, watching the male with silvery blue eyes. They didn't have to talk, but hearing their own voices was such a pass-time that it had become habitual. Castor poked his nose forwards between Pollux's ears and leaned heavily on the male's back.
"Ivbal... I smell rain."
Pollux smiled a cheeky smile and turned suddenly, flipping his brother over onto his back as he pounced on him. The two rolled about and yipped, causing quite the stir while the pack played their games.
_..-.._..-.._..-.._

Sure enough, just as Castor had said, there was rain. It came lightly at first, dousing the grass in a sprinkle as the boys laid out and let the water wash over their fur. Oh it reminded them so much of mother. They weren't sure why, maybe from the cold? The wind pushed their bodies, but neighbor made any attempt to move from laying down, so it really had no effect on them. It just played with their ears and tails. Their blue eyes had closed while the rain washed away their physical connection to the world, rendering the twins numb as they lived in the emotional and mental parts of the world. The cold didn't sting, it caressed their bodies and allowed their minds to be free for some amount of time. The rain lightened to a sprinkle as the soaked twins stood once more, shaking themselves out and bumping into each other as they walked back to the village. With cheeky grins, they crept along the ground to where a group of tawny brown females lay. Each male took a side of the group and sat, staring at them.
"Castor, you know what to do right?"
Pollux's voice sent a whiff of caution to his brother who just laughed lightly and nodded.

"Ai Pollux. I know what to do."
The male watched the sleeping females with a sly grin.

And boy did they know... The males stood simultaneously, turned to put the girls at their sides, and shook. Water flew from their fur in a great spray. There was some mud in there too, but the point was that now the once dry females, were wet. At the first sign of the females noting the change in their fur and the complaining starting, the males high-tailed it out of the pack's den.
"Pollux! Castor!"
Raging voices filled the dun, much to the anger of the rest of the sleeping pack. Everyone was a awake. Not exactly part of the plan, but more of an added bonus. Cackling like hyenas, the twins shot out into the rain. It was rumbling now, and rain came down in buckets. As Pollux stopped, Castor slowed to a stop some feet away and backed against a tree. Pollux just watched the sky, the dark grey, almost black clouds completely eclipsed the sky. There wasn't an ounce of light, even the forest floor seemed deadly in this level of dark. As Ivbal's eyes scanned the clouds, his light nose caught an unfamiliar scent on the horizon. But it was not he who turned to assess the danger. Castor turned and growled, his hackles raised. What a night to pull that stunt.

Moving away from the den, the two plunged their slender bodies further away from safety, into the heart of the forest. They didn't yet know it, but the danger they were in was far more than any wolf should ever have to deal with. Even the blessed twins who seemed to survive any ordeal would need to truly conjure a plan to work this onslaught of horror.
_..-.._..-.._..-.._

The creature rose on two paws, knives growing from each toe. It had stubby little round ears and terrible gnashing teeth. It's giant body was covered in thick shaggy fur. Maybe it was brown, but the storm made it appear black. It was something straight out of a nightmare. The wolves cowered against one another and looked at each other briefly before watching the creature again. It bellowed a great roar of challenge and warning, one that the twins would all too soon ignore. Sure it was a grand offer, but one the two had no intention of filling again. You see, several years back, before learning about this terrible beast, Caster had decided to fill the need to attack.

It didn't end well needless to say. Castor was wounded, severely, it had taken what felt like months to recover, all that while, Pollux never left his side other than to stand and stretch then lay back down. It was a dark time for the twins. Pollux wouldn't forget it, even if Castor had. The fear of losing his brother was crippling.
"Don't you dare..."
Castor seemed appalled to be told what to do, but he didn't deny the danger, nor did he seem to move towards the danger. Growling a little, the pair backed towards the cave again. They knew what t do... The creature would want both of them more likely, or he would pick the injured one. If both of them ran at similar speeds and ran around the creature, then it might be a straight shot to freedom from the grizzly.

Castor was the first to move, lunging forwards as Pollux, a second behind, lunged the other direction. Swinging wide, they bolted, moving a lemon-like shape around the bear and joining up again. Castor, the dare-devil of the two, if you could call it that, cut it a little close to the walking beast. A massive paw came down, its claws shaving Iabal's side, but leaving his flesh unmarred. Once the pair were together, their paws were like the thunder above them, clapping the ground faster than their fluttering hearts. Eyes wide with terror, the lightning lit up the sky. A yelp issued from the two as they peeled off to the left, no idea where they were headed as long as it was away from the danger.
_..-.._..-.._..-.._

Waking the next morning, Pollux was first to see the sun through the trees. The ground was mush, the grass chewed up and beaten down. His head pounded and his feet felt as though a pup had been chewing on them all night. Instantly, after waking, the hound turned to his brother to be sure he was with him. Indeed, the wolf was beside him, caked in mud from their shelter. It was technically a hole in the base of a tree, where it was lower than the ground, so much of the soil had turned to mud and washed away. But it was shelter. Shivering, the mud-caked Pollux squirmed out of the tree and stood in the sun. The gold light bathed his body and cleansed his cold. He felt alive again, he felt that he could run around the world in a heartbeat. At least until the clouds covered the rejuvenating orb and Ivbal returned to the present. Castor was still out, the day was wasting away. He leaned forwards and gave his brother a firm lick on the nose.
"Rise and shine sleeping beauty."
He chuckled darkly and watched Castor stir. Both wolves made their way out of the tree and sat down. The night was a blur after fleeing the bear... One minute they were laughing and enjoying some frivolous fun, the next, they were running for their lives with danger above and behind. And sane wolf would turn back home with their tail between their legs. But now, they had no way home. Home was somewhere, but no where at the same time. It was a lost cause to try and find their way back.

"Pollux, where are we?"
Castor yawned and examined his flank, licking at the patch where there appeared to be some missing fur. As Castor tended to his coat, Pollux watched him and blinked once.

"We are under mother's protection. She breathed the storm away. She gave us guidance in the dark to see where we were going even when we could not see ourselves. Now, we are on our own, with mother to guide us."
Without another word, the wolves stood and padded off into the woods. The mud flaked off, leaving them dusty and brown. The sun washed them of their worries while the twins eagerly looked for any sign of home. There was no home now, but their hopes couldn't be dashed by that realization. Home was all they knew, it was comfortable. Without it, they were lost. Well, not completely, they always had each other, and mother. Ivbal and Iabal looked at one another and nodded, almost as though accepting that there could be no home now.

Padding together, perfectly in sync, the twins shrugged off the sudden depression of feeling lost. Pollux turned to the right, Castor in tow. It was time to find a new home. They wandered for hours, traveling forwards, sideways, the forwards again. While weaving in about out of trees, occasionally one wold would peel off from the other to investigate the area as the other continued on. After traveling for a couple miles, the two took a seat on some cliffs. These rocks... they had never seen them before, which could only mean that they had truly started their own journey, their own path into life. They were on their own, together. The sun had set while they had been traveling. A day's worth of exploring had served them well

The twins, Gemini, the guiding lights at night; looked at each other, their blue eyes glowing in the new-moon night. The dark swallowed their grey forms while their mother's frosted breath picked up the dust from their bodies and scattered it over the great chasm.

Inseparable by even the greatest of woes, Castor and Pollux stepped onto the rock, welcoming the threat of the world, welcoming the flood of information, the elements, everything. This was their world, nothing was going to stand in their way.

Pollux lifted his lips to the chilled silent night and let off one howl, followed by Castor's voice.

Through the silence, a single voice echoed back on the wind, frosty and loving.

Number:#5
Image
Name:Israfel (The name of the angel of song, who inspires music and feelings of new hope.)
Gender:Female
Species:Dog
Design Changes:I'll be adding white bird wings.
Personality: (yes, i have used this before, but I did edit it and strongly think this form suits her personality)
If you asked anyone to describe her in two words they would undoubtedly be quite & mysterious. Israfel is an introvert, no doubt about it. She acts shy and quiet, rarely letting others into her life. She talks very little and when she does her words always carry much more meaning than the idle chatter most people and animals seem to put on when talking to her. Israfel mainly uses facial expressions to communicate her feelings, which makes for very interesting sounding conversations. Her expressions are not like many people and animals, but instead are very strong and give a clear, grounded answer to whatever the question, or even comment may be.

In her physical appearance Israfel can be quite attention-grabbing. When she was growing up, Israfel was diagnosed with an eating disorder which she had for around three years. Even though the pup overcame the disorder she has remained extremely skinny. Many think she still has an eating disorder or other problems, but it is merely that she has a fast metabolism. Very petite she would make a perfect model, but has never been interested in advertising her body.

Another interesting thing about Israfel is that she’s very observant, noticing things that normal people and animals wouldn’t notice, this could be credited, perhaps, to her lack of sight. Being blind Israfel has a heightened sense of smell, taste, touch, and hearing, giving her the ability to notice subtle changes among the creatures she meets that her friends don’t. She also thinks things through a lot, pondering on why he/she did this or said that, or sometimes just on world issues. She’ll go so deep sometimes she’ll uncover hidden meanings even the person/animal themselves didn’t realize were in what they were doing or saying.

Israfel picks carefully who she chooses to be her friend, and her few friends know her very well, but they must never be loud, obnoxious, intrusive or rude. Israfel has a very good sense of who her friends they are whether they reveal this themselves to her or she finds out, senses it on her own. Inside Israfel’s emotions run very deep, and she doesn’t share them with most. While she is very loving and compassionate towards her friends, and even sometimes strangers, letting them open up and share their deepest emotions with her she rarely shares her own feelings and emotions. Through all her life though, (which you will read about later in her background) she has remained just a tiny bit perky and bubbly, even if just showing it to a very few special friends or no one at all. Even during the hardest parts of her life she tries to view the world with a sense of hope and joy, believing that after the bad times come the good times, and that after all is said and done, it’s best to die laughing. :3
Likes: Tea, reading, hemp jewelry, drawing, writing, gardening, art, music, fresh chocolate chip cookies, her friends, comfy blankets, fresh cut grass, dove birds, her blue collar, flying, swimming and winter time.
Dislikes:Being too warm, being the center of attention, revealing her deepest feelings, embarrestment, war and disagreements that turn voilent, being exposed.
Background: [[2500 words maximum 100 words minimum]]
"Your such a beautiful little hybrid doggy aren't you my little poochy woochy?" Crooned the woman. Her deep, smooth, seducing voice whispering in my ear, her sleek, wavy black hair tickling my nose. She was so close I could smell the scent of wine heavy on her breath. I tried to back away as she reached up her bony pale white hand with its blood red fingernails to stroke my jaw. "Where do you think your-" she was cut off by the man's thunderous voice booming, "It's ready!" "Herbert Frank Grundle, how many times must I tell you not to yell!" she hissed threateningly at the slightly plump but muscular man in the brown tweed suit. "I'm sorry Suzy but it's not your choice anymore is it? It's my choice, I'm holding the cards, and we’re in my warehouse aren't we?" He leaned down close to her ear as he whispered this in a deep husky voice. "Herbert-" He cut her off again, quickly and with skill he threw a dirty white rag around her mouth and knotted it behind her head. Then he pulled out a small shiny black pistol and aimed it for her head. "Get into the car now, or I'll shoot" he demanded. The woman made a muffled attempt to protest but quickly abided to the man's wishes when he shot the floor inches away from her. After the man had escorted the woman to the van outside and made sure she was safely locked inside he returned to the warehouse. Night was starting to fall and the warehouse was becoming so dark I could hardly make out my paws, little yet the cages across from me. Before I knew it my cage was being lifted, I stumbled to get my balance. The man held me up to his face, "I never got what Suzi saw in you" he spat, "But I might as well bring you along with the rest of them eh?" he swung my cage around again. I was roughly shoved into back corner of a stuffy van. It was hard to breath, I gasped and panted. Finally after around an hour the man had loaded up the back of the van, the cab of the van, and anywhere else he could find to store us creatures. There were so many of us, all crammed into these tiny tight metal cages that reeked of urine, feces, old rotten food and dog hair. Suddenly the van took off, driving like a mad-man through the streets I could picture the plump man's face, smiling the wicked smile he had shown Suzi earlier. Now I almost felt bad for Suzi, but not quite.
It seemed like we had been driving for days! My cage was plastered with dog hair and spit and puddles of urine lurked in the back corners. Every time I tried to sit down I would manage somehow to land my butt in the middle of a pile of my own drying feces. All of us were starved and nearly dying of thirst. As the van continued to bump along at it's sickening pace I was pondering on the fact that we could all possibly die in here when suddenly there was a thump. The van must have hit something! I heard screams from the cab and everyone was barking with what little strength they had left. As we crashed down the van burst out into flames. The last thing I saw was the terrified look on the face of the dog across from me and a huge flash of orangey-yellow flames.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
I felt a falling sensation, and as I looked around me all I saw was bright white space. I was falling, falling, maybe I would fall forever. Was I dying? I must be, I wasn't in the burning van after all was I? And the strangest part was that I was still falling! I looked around but it was hard for my eyes to focus on anything, everything was just blank and white. Just as I had started to give in to the fact that I might be stuck falling here forever I had a weird tingling sensation and felt the worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life, (or death as it may be). It felt like everything inside me being snapped in half and extracted from my body, like I was being pulled apart cell by cell, bit by bit. I felt like screaming. I felt so much pressure, as if something was pressing down on me trying to destroy me. And in a split second, it was over. I looked around and instantly recognized the van, charred and black, crumbling to the ground and surrounded by fire fighters, police men and medics. I watched calmly as I saw the medics carry away the man and woman who had kept us in those miserable little cages, and again calmly as I watched dogs of all various shapes, breeds, sizes and colors being hauled off in a big truck. I watched still, as some dogs instead were gently placed inside a large soft looking crate which was then driven away towards the vet clinic. I had not seen my body; I assumed it must be inside that big truck that many critically to severely injured pups were thrown into. It just then occurred to me that it was snowing. I hadn't been outdoors in as long as I could remember, my only memories were those memories of my puppy hood when I chased butterflies in the soft green grass and romped in the white fluffy snow in the winter, and stole dangerously sweet candies from brown paper bags during Halloween. The memories were sketchy, and vague, but they had been all I had been able to hang on to throughout my life. I didn't really know where to go, so I headed off in the general direction that I thought I had seen the vet van go in. As I trudged through the sloppy snow on the edge of the road I became aware of a faint fluttering sound. I looked up just in time to see a scrawny, charred little white bird with a few black markings around it's face alight on my nose. It was tiny, and charred by the fire that had burst up from the van, it looked so sad and miserable, but at the same time, oddly serene and peaceful. It said nothing but "Here, take my wings, they belong to you now" and tore its wings free from its body. Just as suddenly as it had appeared, the litter bird vanished, leaving behind two tiny white wings on my nose. I was shocked, but took the wings nonetheless and gently sat them on my back for a moment, thinking that it was worth a try, maybe the feathers would magically connect themselves to me. And it was by no surprise to me, that they did.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
I suddenly felt another sudden jolt of terrible deathly pain as I had felt earlier when being jolted from my peaceful falling and into the harsh reality of the world. Only this time, I found myself in a small padded cage that smelled of B vitamins. It must be the vet clinic I realized, and scanned the area around me. Sure enough, I was in the long term care facility at the local vet’s office, as were many of the other dogs from the cages in the warehouse. The vets office felt amazing, how dumb that must sound to those dog people whose dogs they have to drag to the vets and who spend most of their time peeing on the floor or squirming out of the vet's grasp. Really though, there was fresh clean water and food, as well as comfy large cages that were cleaned out every hour or so, there was heating and air conditioning, and small rubber and stuffed toys to entertain ourselves with. Though there was the occasional hand reaching into our mouths trying to feed us vitamins, or trying to examine us or vaccinate us, which I must say, is not the best thing in the world to have done to you, but it wasn't half bad after you consider what we were going through before. Come to think of it, I wasn't sure if 'before' was real. Was I dead? Was I alive? Was everything that had happened to me today real? Maybe I had just been sleeping, and would wake up to see Suzi trying touch my "lovely jaw" again, but I sure hoped not. Just as I was nodding off to sleep from trying too hard to ponder upon these things, I noticed my back. I had wings.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Explanation: Suzi and Herbert were dog thieves (and lovers) who illegally acquired large amounts of dogs and bred them. After breeding them in a secret warehouse in the city they would sell the hybrid pups (the pups they produced were surgically enhanced or just had their cells messed with to give their coats strange colors, or to give them rare or mythical mutations such as horns, wings or hooves) in the black market to rich billionaires they were often noted to have 'sucked up' to. Israfel was the pup you were following in the story. When the van crashed she momentarily went into a coma in which the bird gave her wings. When she woke up from her coma she was in the vet's office and had 'magically' grown wings. Note that the wings were really the product of illegal surgery on behalf of Suzi and Herbert, but of course Israfel doesn't know that yet. She does eventually find out though. That will be in the rest of her story, since I'm planning to continue it if I get her.

Name: Bella (sometimes known as Nova)
Gender: Female
Species: Cow
Personality: Bella is the 'queen cow' in her pasture, often taking the part of a herd dog. She's bossy, picky, bold and stubborn. She has a great sense of humor though, but as you could probably guess, it's mostly sarcasm. Her emotions are much like thunder, bold and throbbing. She hates it when people underestimate her or challenge her because of her small size, and is always ready with a witty comeback. She's known to stand up for whatever she thinks is right and be very daring.
Likes: spicy foods, grass, thunderstorms, milkshakes, chocolate and lilacs.
Dislikes: cockroaches, dead and decaying material, sour food, being challenged, being underestimated.
Background: Many people and animals seem only to see the outside of me. How I come across to them is really nothing like I am inside, who I feel I really am. I've always seen myself as a very kind animal. Being of the earth element and such even more so. When I was younger all the cows would come to me for advice and comfort, I was always there for them. Now they all keep their distance from me, as if I have some illness they will catch. I'm not completely sure what happened actaully. The only thing I can think of that happened between then and now is the fact that the earth was given to me. Let me explain myself a bit more, it wasn't my choice, I didn't hold out my hooves asking for it, I was given it at a special ceremony preformed for that exact purpose. The Earth Goddess/Mother gifted me it. I was her daughter, her mortal daughter in the form of a cow. Yes, that must seem unwittingly strange and abnormal, a flawless immortal goddess handing over the future of the planet to an undersized mortal brown cow. But it was not without much thought she had gifted this burden on me, for she had considered it many days, maybe even a month. I can still remember her glossy black hair flowing around her pale stunning face, and those bright, intense blue eyes....that day she also gave me my lightening bolt necklace, this was so that I could summon the god Zuess at any time if I needed help. The lightening bolt could not only summon him, but it naturaly harnessed some of Zuess's lightening bolt's power, giving me enough power to create some major natural disasters. My job became tough, I had to protect the Earth, with more than my life. As time went on it got easier, I would learn from what I had done right, and what I had done wrong, I was becoming wise. Yet somehow on the outside during this busy time I had become a daredevil, bossy and picky, bold and stubborn in my ways. I had never meant to change so much, to become so distant and uncaring, so rude and cruel, but I guess it was just part of my life now. Inside my feelings could differ greatly than what I showed on the outside, inside I felt like I was still a careing loving little calf frolicking about only when I wasn't helping others with their problems. Finally I decided I would have to do something. I couldn't stay here with in my pasture as I took care of the Earth. I needed to travel, I needed to meet another animal who could serve as a companion and come with me as I traveled.

It was a foggy morning, the meadow was still frosted with the mornings dew and frost. I quietly moved along near the fence of my pasture searching for an opening. The fence was rough and I was sure it wasn't very old, or very stable. Finally I found a severly weakend board at the far north corner of our pasture facing the woods. I gently rammed up against it, determined not to give my self a splinter when I wasn't even out of the pasture yet. The fence finally fell away and I was free. I had the power of Zuess's lightening bolt and I was free. (if i get her i plan on continueing the story so that she eventaully meets up with the dog above, Israfel. I'm sorry that Bella's story is not as good as it could have been because i was rushed. But I will be doing a lot of editing of it if i win her.)

Name:
Xenia (ZAYN-yah)
(ξενία, xenía)
~Greek, meaning "hospitable"

Nicknames/Aliases/Alter Egos:
She is known by a variety of names by the woodlanders, but no specific nickname.
Enemies sometimes call her "the equinox", for unknown reasons.
When she doesn't know someone, she calls herself "Nellanara"

Gender:
Female

Species:
Smili

Number:
3

Size:
About a meter at the shoulder (according to the Smili thread)

Weight:
About 200 kg (according to the Smili thread)

Family:
Unknown

Age:
Unknown, probably close to about 14 years.

Birthplace:
Off the coast of Asia, unknown where, though.

Current Residence:
Unknown
Most likely somewhere in Asia, though. Perhaps Europe or maybe Africa.

Theme Song:
Cherry Blossom Storm from Okami
~Xenia embodies the personality of the song, a happy yet mysterious tune~

Personality:
~hospitality (n.) - the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.~
Xenia is an extremely kindly smili, and she is quite hospitable to travelers who pass by her den. If they need shelter, food, or a place to sleep, Xenia will be there to help them. She'll support them for as long as she can, and is respected in her forest for this.

~helpful (adj.) - giving or ready to give help~
Xenia is one of the most giving and kind animals in the woods. If anyone is stuck on absolutely anything, Xenia will always be there to help. She's quite adept at it, too, and is often called on just to do work, which she willingly will do. She'll always come if anyone needs her.

~enigma (n.) - a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand.~
Xenia has an interesting way of letting people know what she thinks. She won't tell anyone about it up front, she'll drop hints, and she won't tell you if you're right when you have a guess at what she means. Xenia also has two split personalities. With the one she loves, she's completely relaxed, kind, helpful, whatever you think of when you say "nice". But with others, she's a completely different smili, and will not revert back to her kindly self until she's stopped whatever is in her way. She also has weird ways of going about her work. She never sticks to the normal ways, she'll make up her own ways...which sometimes are a bit odd.

~fierce (adj.) - having or displaying an intense or ferocious aggressiveness~
When Xenia believes in something, she believes in it deeply. When someone threatens her beliefs or way of life, she'll go all out. Her eyes will blaze with a fire most animals didn't know existed, and she will not let up until she has overthrown them, and she's rather reckless too, and will put herself in danger for some things that don't really matter.

~perseverance (n.) - steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., esp. in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.~
Xenia is very perseverant, and she rarely ever gives up. When she needs to do something, she won't say she's done until she believes she's really done. She oftentimes goes way too far, and ends up exhausted, and sometimes even too much. She'll get up the next day, anyway, even if she's not supposed to.

Likes:
~Helping others
(Xenia is the most helpful in the forest, and will often just jump in to help, even if help is not wanted, resulting in many injuries due to annoyed animals.)

~Giving Gifts
(Xenia is a very skilled treasure hunter, and she often finds old things buried in the most unusual of places. She'll dig them up and give them to whoever she thinks needs it.)

~Travelling
(Xenia doesn't travel much, but she loves it dearly, even though she thinks she's too busy to go anywhere (which she really isn't). She's only been to the neighboring forests, but her dream is to go to Italy (how she'll get there, nobody knows).)

~Drawing (she's not the best at it, but she says it's fun)
(Xenia often doodles in the dirt, making weird patterns and swirls and things that really don't make any sense.)

~Photography
(Xenia enjoys watching other people take photos, since she just can't really take them herself. She might steal photos if they come out of the camera that produces them right away, but she'll normally just watch.)

~Nature
(One of Xenia's favorite things to do is to just sit out in nature, watching everything go by. She often falls asleep to the twittering of the birds and the gentle breeze on her coat.)

Dislikes:
~Enemies
(Xenia has an overly large amount of enemies, due to her pure heart and beliefs. She really shouldn't have as many as she actually does.)

~Unhelpful animals/people
(Even Xenia needs help sometimes, and most animals will come to her need, but the ones that don't Xenia will hold a grudge against, and she'll never forget that grudge.)

~Vain animals/people
(Nobody likes a too-proud animal, Xenia especially. She'll have nothing to do with any of the "rich" class, considering herself instead part of the forest.)

~Having nothing to do
(Because no one likes to be bored, especially Xenia. If she's bored, then everyone else is bored, since Xenia does NOT get bored very easily.)

~Male Smili
(Xenia has quite a problem with male Smili. It is thought she has a problem with all Smili, but there is no way to tell, as she has only ever met male Smili, no female Smili.)

History:
The soft feel of the blossoms
from the cherry tree beneath
my fingers.

I am a teller of tales, a gatherer.

The light
song of the birds in my
ears.

I search for tales across the land.

The wafting aroma of
the approaching storm and
the waving grass,

But by far the most amazing is that of the Smili, Xenia.

wind whistling
across the sweet field.

~ Age 0 ~
The young smili cub opened her eyes for the first time and looked straight into the glare of the sun. She mewled pitifully and squirmed in her makeshift nest, closing her eyes tightly. The smili rolled in her bed of sticks and curled into a ball, making small noises. A certain young wolf was padding by at the very moment the young smili let out an ear-piercing shriek. He stopped in his tracks and trotted toward the smili's den. The cub was sitting up and staring at the wolf. Her fur was beautifully colored, and she resembled an ocelot. She fixed him in her unwavering, sorrowful gaze and he took pity on her.
"What's your name, cub?" he asked. The cub mewled in confusion. "You don't have one?" The wolf watched as the smili pawed at his flicking tail and made up his mind. "You're coming with me."
He picked up the smili lightly and placed her gently on his back. He carried the smili all the way to his den and placed her on the ground.
"I'll call you Xenia," he decided, and pushed her softly into the den.

~Age 1~
Xenia leaped after the wolf, her paws crunching the orange leaves at her feet. She took a flying leap and landed on the wolf's back.
"Gotcha!" She laughed and rolled onto the ground.
The wolf stood up and shook leaves off his pelt. "Excellent job, Xenia." he said. "I think that's enough for today."
"Awww," Xenia frowned. "But I was having so much fun!" She gave the wolf her best convincing look.
The wolf smiled gently. "Sorry, but no." He padded down the moonlit path of leaves. "Come with me."
Xenia followed him curiously. "Is something wrong?" The wolf said nothing and continued down the tunnel of trees. Xenia fell into step behind him and they walked slowly across the forest.
The wolf stopped at a pond with the water glowing silver. He put a paw in the liquid and drew circles in the sand on the bottom. "Do you know why I've brought you here?" He looked Xenia straight in the eyes. They were full of curiosity and sorrow, and lower, an understanding.
"Maybe." she said softly. The wolf and smili stared at each other for a few heartbeats. The smili dipped her head, stood up, and padded into the forest.

~Age Unknown~
Xenia dragged herself across the barren wasteland, hoping to finally reach the other side. She heaved a sigh and collapsed on her belly. She was sure this was it. It was time to accept it. She wouldn't make it out alive. She closed her eyes and memories raced through her head. Playing with her caretaker, helping the first animal she ever met. Tears leaked from Xenia's eyes.
"Excuse me, madam, is everything all right?" Xenia forced her eyes open to meet a startling figure. She tried to focus, but sand blew into her eyes and she yowled in pain. She stumbled backwards blindly, and tripped over something. She gave up, blacking out.

Xenia woke up in a nicely furnished, natural smelling cavern. A large, powerful-looking black panther stood over her. He smiled, a gesture that looked odd on his well-built body. "Welcome, madam, to my humble abode." His eyes twinkled. "My name is Odysseus, may I have the honor as to ask yours?"
Xenia quickly made up a name. "Uh, my name is Nellanara," she said.
Odysseus nodded. "Excellent, Nellanara, madam. Your wish is my command.:
Xenia's eyes widened. "Why do you call me madam?"
Odysseus recoiled. "You mean you don't know? You are a Smili, the royal breed!"
"Wait, royal breed?" Xenia was thoroughly confused. "I don't come from around here. Please explain."
Odysseus shrugged. "There aren't many Smili here. When there is one, it is considered a miracle. Everyone wants to see one. And to serve one is considered amazing!" Xenia nodded even though he had not explained why they were worshipped here. "Come with me!" The panther led Xenia through his "humble abode".
"This place is gigantic," Xenia commented. "It's really nice here."
Odysseus turned, shock in his eyes. "Surely it must be tiny compared to your home."
Xenia shook her head. "I don't have a home."
Odysseus said no more, obviously shocked. The panther and smili walked quite a distance until they finally emerged into a large clearing, packed with many woodland creatures. They all turned their heads in shock.
"A Smili!"
"She's so pretty!"
"She looks like an ocelot!"
"There hasn't been one here in years!"
Excited animals crowded around the perplexed Xenia, murmuring shy comments. Odysseus led her around, introducing her to all the animals. Whenever she said hello, the animals would blush shyly and run away giggling. Lots mooned over Odysseus, too. Xenia caught a couple glimpses of him proudly puffing his chest and bragging about how he rescued the Smili. The tale became rather twisted and exaggerated by the end, but the forest animals still listened with wide eyes. The party in the glade lasted nearly all day. Odysseus took Xenia back to his cavern, fussing over her, making sure everything was okay, and other such things. He made her an incredible bed to sleep on, which she accepted gratefully, and curled up on immediately, falling asleep in seconds.

Odysseus crept out of the Smili's room, making sure to be extra quiet. A malevolent smile spread across his lips and he unsheathed his claws. It was time for the assasination. He'd rule the forest after this. No beast would dare defy him, the master of all evil. No beast could win against him anyway. Any dis-cooperation would result in death. The Forest of Blood. His dream for a long time. And what could be better than starting it with Smili blood. The panther crept to the front of his den and let out a soft yowl. Werebeasts and goblins, wolves and kobolds, they all crept out of the trees. The takeover would begin. "You." Odysseus pointed to a wolf in the front. "What's your name?"
"Rogue." The wolf said.
"Rogue, you take the wolves. Guard this entrance. If you do well, I'll promote you. If you fail, it's death for you."
Rogue nodded in understanding. "Yes, Master."
"No," Odysseus said thoughtfully, "Supreme Master. Supreme Master of all evil!"
Rogue shivered. "Yes, Supreme Master."
Odysseus turned to the goblins. "You, Tarsen, guard the entrance behind that bush. The goblin smiled grossly.
"As you wish, Supreme Master." His voice was rough and slinky.
Odysseus placed all the other creatures in their spots and smiled malevolently. "The time has come," He trotted back in to the cave.

Xenia woke to a scuffling sound. She immediately sat up, and met a pair of glowing green eyes.
"Odysseus?" Xenia asked warily.
A snarl emanated from the creature. "Do you think I would really smother you with that much attention?"
Xenia immediately jumped into a defensive position, and the two circled eachother. The light flickered on, and Xenia saw the flame in the panther's eyes more thoroughly. He obviously meant business. He leaped at the Smili, and Xenia just barely dodged. The flame deepened. He picked up speed and both cats lobbed themselves at the other. It was a mix of snarls and leaps and dodges and yowls. Then it stopped.
"This is your end, Smili!" Odysseus yowled in triumph.
Xenia was lying on the ground, blood spilling out of a wound in her side. Odysseus raised a paw to strike, and fell over. Xenia had hooked him with her back paw, and scratched across his flank. His sides heaved.
"NNOOOOOO!" he yowled. His eyes closed and Xenia howled in triumph. The evil creatures outside retreated, and Xenia fell over. "I won," she murmured.

(She's lived in that cavern ever since.)

Interview:

Q: So, Xenia, how did you get your name?
A: My caretaker gave it to me when I was very young.

Q; Do you think you fit your name?
A: Well, I certainly hope so. I consider myself hospitable, and I hope others do, too.

Q: Sorry, I couldn't help myself, do you have a favorite food?
A: Well, not really.

Q: A favorite color, then?
A: Earthy browns and greens, I can't decide between the two.

Q: Where do you live, then?
A. In a forest. I'm really not sure exactly where, though.

Q: If you could be born as any other animal, which one would you be?
A: Interesting question. Probably a kitsune, though.

Q: Why?
A: I don't know, I've always admired them, though.

Q: Excellent. Do you plan on mating?
A: Well, probably not. I like being solitary.

Q: Solitary in the sense that you live alone buy invite visitors over though, right?
A: Yes, in that sense.

Q: Do you like being a Smili?
A: What's with the weird questions? Of course I do.

Q: Are you a writer?
A: Seriously? No way. I can't write a decent complete sentence.

Q: Do you know your adjectives?
A: My adjectives? What is wrong with you?

Q: Nothing. What's wrong with YOU?
A: *snort* Do you have anything serious to say?

Q: Yes. Do you know your nouns?
A: WHAT?

*slam, crash, bang*
~Portion Removed due to weird sounds...and I mean weird~

Q: Okay, now that that's over, have you ever seen your caretaker since you left him?
A: Yes, in fact, once.

Q: When was this?
A: At my five-year mark.

Q: Do you know your caretakers name? It was never mentioned.
A: Strangely, no I do not.

Q: How long were you with your caretaker?
A: A year or so.

Q: When is your birthday.
A: July 6th

Q: Is that your actual birthday?
A: No, it's just a guess on my caretaker's part.

Q:
A:

Other:
I love this Smili so much, I saw her, and fell in love with her immediately. If I do not win her (which I will probably not), the owner is free to use any of my interview or portion of my story as an addition to her personality. I would appreciate credit, though.

Name:
Rusoux [Roo-So]

Species:
Marwari Horse

Personality:
Rusoux is a loner type of horse. She prefers to be by herself other than the other horses were in her
barn. She doesn't mind munching on grass, thinking deep, deep thoughts. Rusoux is anything but
a sweetie. The members at her barn keep her separated from the students and other horses..
WIP

Likes:
-Being alone
-Thinking
-Her sickness

Dislikes:
-Pitchfork scratching on the barn floor
-People talking
-Horses neighing, whinnying, snorting..
-Others telling her she shouldn't be alive
-That she's a horse, otherwise, that she's an animal

Background:
It is far better to be alone than to wish you were
~Ann Landers~

I wanted to be alone. That's all. But sometimes.. the world doesn't let you. I was born in a thunderstorm, right in the heart of it. No one was there to help my poor mother whom was giving birth to me. She died.. I was found in a pile of mud, half dead but still hanging by a thread. Then a few days after I was born, the vet said I was mentally ill. Some say it was the thunder, others say I just got hypothermia of some sorts. No one really knows why I have this.. medical condition. My condition is, that, I hate all noises. I wish I was Helen Kellar. Who lived without noise or seeing her surroundings. Another thing about my sickness is I think and act like a human being. I don't make horse sounds. I have never neighed or whinnied in my life. I prefer thinking about my illness rather than jumping hurdles. No one has ever ridden me at the barn. Because I killed someone.. The barn members call me a murderer. The story is that, the human was trying to hurt me, kill me. So I broke his neck with my front hoof. I know what he was trying to do, he was wanting to put me down. I, was smarter than others. Others would have just stood there, thought it was a simple blood test as the vet started to insert a small needle in your neck that would end your life in five minutes. Ah, I'm only saying bits and pieces of things to you right now.. when you want to know the whole story, right? Hm. Well, I'll start with when they diagnosed me..
~ ~ ~
"Would you like me to schedule for her to be euthanized?" The vet said, as he unhooked his stethoscope from his huge, dumbo ears. "What? But.. why? She looks like a fine, healthy mare to me" The head honcho of the barn crossed his big, dirty arms. The vet shook his head with a tight mouth, "She doesn't seem to be making any sounds. As you told me, you never heard her make any signs of sound when you found her?" The barn manager furrowed his brow, "No. She didn't make any sound.. Actually, she hasn't been makings sounds ever since she was born" He stopped talking and tapped his big boots on the dirt floor. "But why would she have to be put down because of that?" The vet looked up to the sky, as if praying. "Well, Ben. Your Marwari also appears to have not horse organs, but human organs"

I would like to adopt!
Number: 16
Picture:
Image
Name: Rouge
Species: Anthro Arctie Wolf
Personality: Strong. Holds herself with humility and grace.
Likes: Strawberries, sewing in the early light of dawn.
Dislikes: Loud noises, blueberries and rats.
Background: Rouge is an imperial embroiderer and dress maker. She creates the gowns that the ladies of the court wear, and even once created a beautiful gown for the Phoenix Empress' coronation.

While not considered especially beautiful, Rouge was still pretty. But, when you looked upon her, or any woman, wearing a gown that she crafted, you would become speechless. The colours of these robes blended perfectly. Her stitching, which was all dyed and sewn by hand, was flawless. Not a single frayed thread could be seen. One of these gowns has survived almost 800 years.

If you travel to the Omifolai (Pronounced - Ohmai - Fo - Lie) Museum, you can walk around one of her most stunning robes. The entire gown was dyed an earthy brown, but as your eyes move up the fabric, you notice the colours become lighter, softer. A golden tree reaches up from the bottom of the gown, and spreads itself around the fabric. Branches stretch out over the shoulders and sleeves. The tree, being in full bloom had flowers that were encrusted with a tiny red jewel in the center, contrasting with the orange of the flower so delicately.

But your eyes still move about the gown. Its not until you walk around to the back that you notice something. Its not easy to spot, but you take a closer look anyway. At the base of this golden tree, at the bottom of the gown, you see a patch of dying grass. And hidden in this grass is a a most peculiar object. A wine glass. Its lying down, and you see, that there is a red liquid puddle under it. You assume its wine, but it has that deep red colour that is so striking of blood that a cold shiver run downs your spine. This wasn't the intention that Rouge wanted to portray. The robe was made as a way for her to overcome a deep pain.

Summer for the imperial family, was more or less a holiday. The crown prince was to remain behind in the capital, to oversee the kingdom, while the royal court went to spend 3, lovely, cool months, up in the mountains. Rouge, being the royal dress maker, and the daughter of the Empress' hand maiden, always tagged along. The summer palace was her favorite place to be. She could sit out in the gardens, just as the sun peaked in the horizon, bringing with it a beautiful new day. She once made a gown, that showed the rays of the sun, casting their glow over the capital below. The dress was given to the youngest princess who said that the sun was trying to wake up the sleeping citizens.

It wasn't just the beauty of the mountains that appealed to Rouge. It was a young guardsman. His eyes were of an average colour for the Traralgon people. But to Rouge, they were such a stunning gold that she could lose time just staring at them. Their love was young, pure and full of life. The Emperor, a kind old man, saw them together once, and decided to appoint this young man to care for the dressmaker, so they could spend more time together, and it was a general belief that these two were the epitome of romance. Many of the old stories told today about love, stemmed from this very couple. But, as with most romances, something must always happen.

Rouge turned over in her sleep, but for no reason she could determine, she awoke. She hadn't been dreaming of anything that would warrant her abrupt awakening, but, she could see the sky outside of her window beginning to lighten, and decided that now she was awake, she may as well get dressed. But, something seemed off. She couldn't hear any birds. Surely they should be singing their welcome songs to the sun. It was then that she heard, rather than felt a deep rumbling from all around her.

The room began to shake most violently and Rouge screamed. To her, the earth sounded like it was opening up to swallow the palace whole. But as a massive boulder crashed onto the balcony in front of her, she couldn't help thinking that the gods must have destroyed the mountain in anger. A minute after the earthquake had begun, and the rocks stopped rolling down the mountain face, the screams of pain, and cries for help started.

Rouge pushed some debris from her legs and wiped the blood from her face. She stood up, shaking from head to toe. The hallway outside her room looked mostly intact and she rushed next door to her mothers room. Realizing that her mother was fine, she began to make her way through the palace, searching for her love. She came across the Princesses room, and saw the eldest princesses hand under piles of debris and from the way the other girls stood around her, Rouge knew she was beyond help. The youngest was standing there, covered in dust and blood and tears. But Rouge could only think of her guardsman. She ran out and saw the front of the palace a few hundred feet down the side of the mountain.

Tears coursed down her face as panic began to set in. She rushed through a door and found herself almost falling over the edge of the dining hall. A great chasm had opened up under the palace, swallowing most of the kitchen and the cooks sleeping quarters. And just over the side of the chasm was little more than a wall. It was what used to be the guards building. A wine bottle rolled across the room and hit Rouge's foot. She picked it up and grabbed a wine glass from the cabinet beside her. A thought flickered across her mind that brought to her attention, that the cabinet was still intact, as was all the glasses inside. A smile played across her lips as she opened the bottle and poured herself a liberal amount of the deep red liquid.

Rouge sat down on the tiled floor, dangling her legs over the gaping crack in the side of the mountain. She slowly drank the wine as the sun rose, casting light on the devastation around her. Screams grew louder around her, then faded. Cries of loss, pain and sadness filled the air, never ceasing and Rouge's tears kept flowing. She was sure he was gone. The building had disappeared, taking the love of her life with it. She drowned her sorrows for hours, until someone called for her.

Rouge's mother was outside, tending to the wounded when she saw a group of men carrying a body. They made their way to the rest of the dead. She made her way over to see who it was, as she was trying to see how many of her friends and family made it. The kingdom had lost its Empress and two of its princesses, along with a hundred or so other men, woman and children. A sheet, stained with blood covered this body and as Rouge's mother made her way towards the group of men, she saw their saddened faces.

"Who is it?" she asked gently. One man pulled the sheet off the face. It was him. Rouge's soul mate. Tears filled her eyes as she realized and sent someone to fetch her daughter. Rouge came, knowing he was already dead, but the pain that filled her heart, pulled her down onto the grass beside him. Her head was heavy with alcohol, but she ripped the sheet away. His body was crushed and covered in blood. He was in full uniform and before she could ask, she was told that they had found his body in the garden beside the guards quarters. Rouge's heart skipped a beat. She was supposed to meet him there at dawn. They were going to travel up the mountain to the Temple for the day. If they had not argued about the time they should leave, and she had not been adamant that dawn was the best time, he would still be alive.

A few weeks after the disaster, Rouge sat down with some fabric and began to pour all her grief into a gown. This gown was never worn, as Rouge had intended for it to be. It was used as a symbol for the loss that the kingdom felt. To her it was a celebration of the time she had spent with her soul mate, but also as a reminder of that day when her life, along with the mountain, was destroyed when the earth opened and took away all hope and love from her world.

That dress can be seen today at the museum, it is the only gown she made that has survived. You can see the sketches she made of her past work, many paintings of important women, who were wearing Rouge's gowns, but nothing can compare to the beauty this woman made with her bare hands. . .

Many creatures have lived crazy odd lives. Some learn they have amazing powers and need to control them. Others aren't liked at first and then in the end, end up saving the day and are loved. And then some creatures just live outrages lives. Well, Cherry is like all of those creatures in ways and in other ways she's lived the strangest way a tale has ever been told.

"Cherry! Come inside now!" Called a females voice from inside one of the dens in the beautiful orange and green Fall forest. Cherry pricked her pink ears and looked towards the den. "Comming!" She called out and turned to the brown dog with a strange swirl mark on his back."Sorry Luke, Maera is calling." The brown dog nodded. "No worries. See you tomarrow Cherry." He said and trotted off.

The pink wolf and dog mix walked into the gray rock then her family was lucky to have found. She was quickly greeted by her mother and father, Maera and Ty. After that quiet greating 4 tiny pups that jumped at her feet. Maera and Ty adopted all the 4 little pups, they also adopted Cherry herself. Maera and Ty were the perfect non-parents, but sometimes Cherry wondered what life would be like with her real mom and dad. She barley remembered her real parents. Execpt a single memory, were she opened her eyes as a pup and saw her moms bright blue eyes and her fathers dark green eyes, and there warm smiles as they saw there single pup stare at them.

"You ok, Cherry?" The noise of Ty stopped Cherry's flashback as she stared at her father. "Oh yeah, everythings fine." She said with a fake smile, though she knew Ty could read it. "That flashback again?" He asked and Cherry stiffled a nod. Just then her fake father twitched his tail and walked outside, Cherry followed him ontoa big grassy hill that looked over the forest. "See that star?" Ty asked, using his paw to point to a big bright white star flickering in the sky as Cherry nodded. "Me and your father used to stand on this very hill, and look at the very star each night." He said and looked at her. "You look just like your father." He told her. Cherry stared at him with wide eyes. "My father was pink?" She asked and Ty let out a deep laugh. "No Cherry, your father was red with the blackest stripes you could ever so see. And with those deep green eyes, all the female wolves in his pack loved him. He was the alpha you know, and their was no alpha female. The beta male in your fathers pack was named Crash, he always looked up to your father and always wanted to be a alpha like your father. But then, thats when he saw, her. Your mother, the prettiest bobtailed border collie he ever layed his eyes on. Her pelt was as white as snow, with faint gray dots all over her face belly and tail. She had bright silver and blue eyes, and many were surprised she wasn't blind." He said.

"And then what happened?" Cherry asked. Ty looked at Cherry. "Your father left, left his rank and his pack for your mother. And then your mother had you. This pink fluffy adorable pup with bright blue eyes like your mother. You were perfect. The night right after you opened your eyes Crash killed your mother and your father, upset your dad left the pack for your mom. And then we found you, and your parents limp bodies laying."

"How do you know all of this?"

"Because. I used to be in the pack, and I was a a loyal good friend to your father. Your father wanted me to be beta, but I refused. I saw your father as he was dying, and his last words were. "Tell her I love her." " Ty finished and looked at Cherry as she looked at him back. "Wow.." Cherry said softly and then looked up at the bright star Ty was talking about before. "I must go, I must go and find Crash, and I must kill him. Ty, do you remember what Clash looked like?" She asked as her father looked at her. "Oh heck no, that was a long time ago. But I wish you lucky on your trip." And at that moment Cherry looked at him. "You mean, your letting me go?" She asked shocked as Ty nodded. "Of course, your old enough, of course it will be hard loosing the help with the pups and it will be hard loosing my favorite daughter. But you make your own choices now. And I'll miss you deeply." Cherry looked at Ty and her eyes clouded as she nuzzeled him. "I'll miss you too. And I promise, once I kill him I'll return with his pelt." She said ambitiously and trotted off to what she didn't know would be the hardest thing Cherry walked herself into.

"Hey Cherry! What'cha doing?" Cherry pricked her ears and turned around as she saw Luke padding over to her, his blue collar shining on his neck as he stopped by her. "I'm going on a quest." She said with her head held high. "

"Quest for what?"

"To find and kill Clash, the wolf that killed my mother and father."

As Cherry said that Luke looked up at her with a look in his eyes. "Interesting. Well I'm your best friend, arn't I? So I guess I can't let you go off and kill this Clash by yourself, right? So I'll join you." He told her with a grin. "Oh thank you Luke! Your the best friend anyone could ever have!" Cherry exclaimed jumping up and down. "Shouldn't we be on our way?" Luke asked and Cherry nodded and they walked.

"So, is the Clash your going to kill the one who was beta male in your fathers pack?"

Cherry stoppped when Luke asked that question and turned to look at him. "How did you know?

"Let's just say my father knew Clash very well. To the point were my father knows where Clash's den is."
Luke says and keeps walking. "No way!" Cherry says and looks at him shocked. "Did you father tell you where to find it?" She asked and watched as Luke nodded. "It's at the top of a the tallest peek on the tallest mountain. Right beyond this forest is the Red Weed Meadow, Then The Serpent Lake, After that is the Blizzard Passing Grounds, and finally you reach The Snowy Mountains were Clash's den lies." Luke says with a grin. Cherry smiled. "Thats great! We'll be there in no time! But it's getting dark right now, so should we find someplace to stay for the night?" She asked him. "Yeah, you go find something for us to eat and when you return I'll have a nice burrow to sleep in." He says and Cherry runs off to hunt.

Cherry pricks her ears as she hears the sound of a hawk's nest close by. "Perfect..." She says and jumps landing on the side of a tree trunk. She pushes off the tree trunk and goes to another but this time jumpes higher, and works her way up to the nest. When she reaches the top Cherry gently pets the chicks making them cry out for help. Soon she can hear her fathers attack cries as he flys towards the nest. When at the right time, Cherry leaps into the air and then dives down in a sprial motion at the bird landing on it's back. Her weight makes the hawk fall to the ground, as it lands she kills it, picks it up and heads to Luke.

"Like it?" Luke asks once Cherry returns and sees a good sized burrow ahead of her. "It's perfect! I got us a hawk to eat." She says and Luke shakes his head. "I'm not hungry, but it's getting way to dark, lets go inside and sleep." He told her and she nodded walking in side and laying down for a good nights rest.

Cherry wakes up feeling the warm sunlight crawl through the hole managing to shine on her back. She crawls out of the den and looks around, to see Luke eating some of the hawk. "I saved the best part for you" He said with a smile as Cherry nodded and ate some of the hawk. "The Red Weed Meadow is just beyond here. But before we go, I want to ask you something." Luke says and looks at Cherry. "Yes?" "Well, we've been friends ever since you moved in with Ty and Maera, and ever since I met you I've always though of you more then a friend. So Cherry, will you please be my mate?" He asked and Cherry looked at him. "I accept your offer" She said with a smile and Luke grinned. "Good. Now lets be on our way. Sha'll we?" He asked. "Yes, we sha'll" Cherry answered.

Once they reached The Red Weed Meadow, Cherry looked around shocked. What she saw were not Red Weeds. The meadow was consumed of small patches that spread out for miles. Some patches a dark red roses with black thorns, and others were patches of white dasies. Cherry went to take a step and Luke pushed her to the side making her fall down. She stood up with a snarl. "What was that for!?" She asked. "I must warn you. You must jump to each white path until you reach the end. One paw or tail on those red roses they curl around you a suck you into death." He told her. "So follow me" He said jumping to a patch of yellow flowers and then scooted to the side to make room. Cherry took deep breath and jumped to the patch of flowers. "Good job" Luke said with a grin and Cherry smiled. "Thanks." Luke soons jumps to another patch, and another, and Cherry followed behind jumping on the yellow patches.

After about twenty minutes, Cherry jumped her last patch and then jumped back onto the lush green grass with Luke by her side. "Whew! That was alot of jumping! I'm worn out!" She says and Luke nods. Cherry looks ahead of her and a maybe about 300 meters in front of her is a huge snowy land with a big black blizzard cloud over it. "I'm guessing thats The Blizzard Pass eh?" She asks. "Correct, it never ever stops snowing until you reach the end." He says to her. "Well we can start our journey there. Then when it gets dark or we get tired, we fall alseep, and when we wake up, we can start on the journey again!" She says.

"Are you ready to cross over?"

"I'm ready."

"Thens lets go" Luke says and him and Cherry walk over onto The Blizzard Pass.

A big freezing gust of wind blew through Cherry's fur and she let out a shudder. The Blizzard pass was one of the worse things she had gone through and she just started! "How..lo..ng.. does..it take.. to cross the Blizzard....pass..?" She asked through chattering teeth. "Maybe 3 days. It's tough. " He says with no problem at all about the cold. Luke pressed up against Cherry, giving his body heat to her. Suddenly, Cherry stopped in her tracks. "What's that?" She asks pointing to a big gray swirling funnel comming towards them. "It's a blizzard tornado! Run!" Luke says and takes off running and Cherry followed behind him.

Cherry could feel herself being lifted off her feet as the bliazzard tornado was pretty much over them. Cherry dug her claws into the ground and kept on running, it was like being on a treadmill, going as fast as you can but staying in the same place. She closed her eyes and with all her might jumped and hoped she was heavy enough to land and not get sucked up by the tornado. Soon she could feel the snow under her paws and she dug her claws back into the ground and kept on running until to tornado passed. Cherry looked back and relized something, Luke wasn't with her! "Luke!? Luke where are you!?! Luke!!!!!!" She screamed and no answer came.

After many hopless hours of searching for Luke, Cherry gave up and watched as the sky turned dark black as the blizzard still blew. Cherry peered around and saw a log and under the log was a small burrow. Cherry trotted towards it and sniffed it, nothing. So she crawled inside the small den, curled up, and went to sleep for the night.

In the morning Cherry woke up and walked outside into the blizzard. She looked to the left and then the right and stopped to take a sniff. Forest! I smell forest! Cherry took a deep breath ran towards the smell letting nothing stopping her. A Day and a night passed of running through the blizzard until Cherry was on dirt. She layed down and licked the dew on the grass before falling into a dark sleep.

Cherry woke up to see a small barn owl with a black dot on it's staring at her. She jumped and snarled at the owl but it just sat there looking at her. "Finally! You woke up! After 4 days of sleeping." The barn owl said. "Four days!?!? But how?" Cherry said beweildered. "I'm sorry but who are you?" Cherry asked the owl. "I'm Mali, the barn owl. And I'm guessing your Cherry." The owl says and Cherry nods. "How do you know?" "After four days of hearing a mutt talking in their sleep, you get to know alot." Mali says. "Ok, I'll be on my way to The Snowy Mountains now." Cherry says and starts walking. "Wait! The Snow Mountains are a brutal and harsh. Why would you want to go there?" Mali says as he peerches himself on Cherries back and Cherry turns back to look at him. "Because, I'm going to Clash's lair to kill him because he killed my parents." She says and Mali nods. "Looks like I'll be asisting you, I can alway fly ahead and tell you what I see." "Thanks Mali." Cherry says and keeps on walking.

"Hey boss what do we do now?" Cherry pricks her ears as she hears a voice from below the cliff she was on. Looking down she was shocked at who she saw. Luke, standing there, bright as day. Cherry was about to fun down and lick her mate all over the face but something stopped her. Comming out of the den was a pretty female who walked up to Luke and nuzzeled him, and he nuzzeled her back! Cherry stopped and listen to the wolves.

"So Luke, when are you leaving for the time traveling cave?"

"In three days Duke"

"Why?"

"Because, it will take her awhile to find the cave."

"You're so brave Luke" A female said rubbing against him.

" Thank you Marai, your a wonderful mate."

Cherry snarled under her breath. Luke was cheating on her! She watches as Luke started padding in her direction. "I'm going to take a walk" He said and bumped into her falling back. Cherry came out of the bushes snarling at him. Luke ran up to her and licked her. "Cherry I missed you so much!" He says and Cherry snaps at him. "Don't act as if I'm stupid Luke! I know you've been cheating on me! How could you?" She growled and he looked at her with a stern face. "I never thought you would make it this far. Congrats. But you won't make it any futher, so please leave." He said and his fur raises and he snarls. At that moment Cherry saw a bunch of snowy mountains, and she saw the the highest mountain had a cave on it's peek. "The cave!" She yells and runs away from Luke as Mali jumps off her back and flys above her. "Get back here!" Luke snarled as Cherry ran away and soon entered The Snowy Mountains.

"I'll fly over and around the mountains and tell you the best path to take to get to Clash's cave." Mali says and Cherry nods watching the barn owl fly off. Soon she could see Mali again as he flew towards her landing on a tree branch. "I found the perfect path to climb the mountain Clash's cave is at. Follow me!" Mali screeches before flying off with Cherry head on her heels. Mali swearved around trees and twigs, Cherry dogding them to folow Mali. The barn owl then fly up over a rock pile wall and Cherry climbed up it and followed. Soon Cherry knew she was on the mountains as she went around the path until she reached the top and looked to see Luke, inside of the den with a grin. "I've been expecting you, Cherry."

"You have no business here Luke! Where is Clash?!" Cherry snarled looking at the wolf she once loved. "You're looking at him." Luke grinned and Cherry growled. "Thats impossible, your my age and Clash killed my parents when I was a pup. A pup can't be beta male in my fathers pack."

"Your very smart Cherry, thats why I have the mark on my back. It changes different times of the year I can go back in. Like it?" He asked with a grin.

"I hate it. Why did you kill my parents anyway?"

"Because Cherry, when I was Clash, I looked up to your father. He said that every canine was from us, yet they act like they are better then us in all ways. So when you father met your mother, he left us all in the dust for her. He broke his own rules! So the night you opened your eyes, I snuck into your den and killed your parents. So the pack I live in now, recreates everything your father said, and we live up to it. And soon, once I master it, I will go way back in history to when the first couple that created dog was in love, and I'll kill them. So no dogs or any other canine other then a wolf will live!"

"Well your line ends here Luke!" Cherry growled and jumps at him with her claws ready. Suddenly Luke dissapeared and Cherry felt long claws ranking down her back. She yelped and turned around to see him vanish again and felt another ranking of claws from him. This time Cherry pretended to turned around but then turned back to see him in front of her. She suddenly took her chance and teared his neck. He choked and gagged and pinned Cherry down. She closed her eyes and knew she would die.

Suddenly Cherry had to open her eyes when she heard a screech as Mali flew into the scene. He dived towards Luke and raked his talons along with swirled mark on Luke's back, making the swirl twist and bleed. "No!" Luke howls and falls to the ground dead. Cherry stood up and looked at Mali. "Than you so much!" She says and Mali points his wing to Lukes swirled mark still twisting. "No need to thank me. But you better hurry before that swirl dies to." The owl says and Cherry nods. "Take me to my life as a pup." She says and feels herself fall alseep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cherry wakes up to see a pair of silcer and blue eyes staring warmly at her. "You father is outside talking to the new neighbor, his name is Ty, he's a nice wolf. You'll like him." She says and Cherry nods. "I know." She smiled and gets up walking out of the den to see the night sky. Then she saw a hill with two wolves on it, a red wolf, and of course, Ty. Cherry ran towards them and her father looked at her. "Hello Cherry. Look at that pretty star" He says pointing to the bright star Ty showed her before she left to kill Clash/Luke. But Cherry didn't look at the star, instead, she looked at a nest in a tiny tree a couple of meters away from her. And inside the nest, were 3 baby owls. But one owl stood out from the rest, a tiny barn out with a black dot on his eye. Cherry smiled as the baby owl winked her her. "Thank you" She muttered and the baby nodded. Cherry then looked at the shining star in the sky and with a bigger smile, Cherry knew she was in the right place in the right time after all.
