Selena

Why I chose name:
Selene is the name of the Greek (minor) goddess of the moon. This beautiful Goennec reminded me of her and the moon because of her silvery and shimmering coat and I thought Selena was just a perfect name- I added an A because I wanted to make it slightly more unique:)

Tier 4 - Soldier: Being of a slightly higher up rank, Selena knows she must look presentable and well-groomed at all times, which is why she makes sure her coat looks shimmering and lovely at all times. It takes a lot of work to keep one's self and one's fur so well kept constantly.


Why do you want this goennec?:
She is just beautiful, and my favorite color too- silver:) It is a slightly different favorite color, but I love it, and the color suits this goennec. I like the winter palette and winter look to her as well, with the large fluffy tail and fur covered hooves. Also, I just happened upon Goennecs about a week ago and fell in live with them so I decided I had to try out for one. But I never imagined the designs would be so beautiful, and suite my taste so much! This Goennec looks almost like a fantasy- mythological creature, and even has some similarities to the European unicorn, the Capricorn, and the Japanese Kirin, a goat or deer like mythological creature with powers like flying and purifying polluted water, basically Japan's unicorn almost.

How would you use this character?:
Ill most likely put her in my signature. Having a little mind blank so I can't think of anything else I could do, except maybe make pictures of her. She would be a great art subject:) I'm quite a good artist outside of the computer so I would probably draw pictures with her as my subject. However, my computer art skills aren't quite as experienced or advanced as some so I might order some art of her as well. I might base a short story on Selena as well, but I've always had a better way expressing things through art.

-Personality:
Selena is a calm and peaceful Goennec. Selena prefers simple things to do, such as strolls through forests, instead of engaging in any strenuous activity. She is extremely thoughtful, and can often be found gazing off into space, questioning the wonders of the world. She is a little vain and proud at times, and sometimes thinks too much of her looks. Another habit of hers is she can be caught staring at her reflection, or subconsciously smoothing her silver fur. Selena has a good heart though, and has a very loving, almost maternal personality.

-Favorite Activities:
Selena's favorite activities include star gazing, walks through forest or mountainous areas, swimming and grooming- there's something calming and satisfying about it

-Likes:
Star gazing, nighttime, sunny days,

-Dislikes:
being caught staring at her reflection, long and hard activities that require a lot of effort, such as running a marathon, getting mud or dirt in her fur, cloudy night skies that don't allow her to see the stars

-Favorite places to visit:
Selena loves to visit old, historic and quiet places such as the Stonehenge, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and the Grand Canyon. She also loves large parks filled with forests and wildlife.

Why do you want this Goennec?:
When I saw the first one, Blizz, I knew right away that this round's theme was icy which I think is really cool. I like Blizz but she really didn't jump out at me and the next two, although lovely, aren't for me either. When I got to this guy though I knew I just had to try for him. I absolutely love his sparkly snow fall coat and his feet are lovely too. His horns are a bit on the bright side for me but I can live with that since that color works very well on his nose and hooves.

How would you use this character?:
I would include him in my stories about my herds (he would be a member of my dark/night herd), draw him, and add him to my character thread; I won't be roleplaying him though.
I'm going to put him in my dark herd because although he has lighter blue colors he reminds me of those winter nights when the snow reflects enough light to make it bright enough to see a fair distance away even with more snow falling.

Goennec in a Sentence: Snowfall is a graceful, polite, and quite Goennec who has a softspot for the ladies but can be somewhat impatient.
Likes: Sparkly rocks, berries, the full moon, quiet evenings, pastel colors, and females with pastel colors
Dislikes: Eating flowers, kids being loud or pulling/bouncing on him, very bright colors especially red and orange, conceited males, and long winded conversations
Personality: Snowfall is a rather quite Goennec and prefers to keep company that is quiet as well. His favorite pastimes all revolve around doing something in a calm a quiet way. He is usually carries himself in a dignified way and tries to treat others with respect. He is never rude except to some of the more boisterous males in the herd. He can be quite flirty toward the females and often goes out of his way to do things for them. Many would consider him a gentleman and most find him rather attractive not only because of the way he looks or acts but also because of the way he moves and talks. Every movement he makes is graceful and deliberate and his speech is much the same way; he is very to the point and never says anything that doesn't need to be said. He doesn't like to waste time and hates talking with those who never get to the point or keep changing the subject without fully finishing what they were saying.
