Goennec Pen # : W2
Name : Fala
Rank : Soldier
Size : 2'4''
Why do you want this Goennec? : Well at first I thought it would be smart to just wait out this round, because school work is piling up on me and making my computer time limited. Yet the more I passed by the pens, the more interested I became in this girl. I liked how she seemed for fit a theme of melting, which differed from all the others. The detail in her is really lovely, and I adore the fact that she has no hooves, just paws. Because of labor day weekend, I have more time to get work done which meant I had time to fill out a nice form for this girl. She's really lovely and I get lots of ideas by just looking at her.
How would you use this character? : I'm not exactly an artist, but I love to doodle and draw on my tablet a lot, even though I don't show very many people. I can promise you that'll I'll draw Fala along with my other Goennecs. Not to mention I'll make sure I can order art of her too, since that's always fun. Fala will also join the roleplay board, since I love to roleplay and I think it would be really fun to rp her with everyone else's Goeys and see how she acts around them.
Define your Goennec : Fala is sly, sneaky, and a very reclusive Goennec. Shy isn't exactly the best word to describe her as, since the Soldier is actually quite nice and good to get along with if you know her good enough. Since she doesn't have any hooves, you don't hear the loud clicking sound when she walks or runs. Her steps are quiet and it's near impossible to hear them, making it easy to slip around and spy on others. She has been able to pick up important pieces of information because of this, and can easily get away from a troubling situation because no one is able to locate her current position. Fala is pretty smart, but sometimes has trouble working out a thought, and often dilly-dallies and needs a few moments to think something through. Because of this, and a few other reasons, Fala has taken a liking to another Soldier in the herd, Henna. Quick to think and good at focusing, Henna makes for a wonderful companion to Fala, and the two are rarely apart unless one of them is needed for something from the Prime, Buck. He often calls Fala over to ask her to spy something out for him. Whenever there is an odd scent in the air, or signs of a stranger on their territory, he makes her go and scope it out. Fala is easily able to do this, and has no trouble finding the source of these problems without getting noticed or caught. In multiple cases she has helped them out, giving her a respectable rank among the herd even though Buck himself doesn't like her much. Try as she might, Fala can't seem to earn Buck's full trust. She makes him nervous, and he doesn't like how she's able to mask herself away from him so easily.
Story : The air was cool, the sky dark and crisp as snow fell lightly. The gray shadowed female slipped through the bushes and made her way up the cliff, towards the Prime's den. Her paws left prints in the snow, only to be covered by swishing her tail back and forth. Even in the territory of the herd, it was best not to let anyone know she had come this way, even if she trusted her friends. Others could invade or sneak in during the night, and all they needed where the tracks of a passing Goennec to know where the prime was and attack. She shuddered at the thought, pushing it away as she reached the set of trees he often rested in.
"Buck?"
There was some rustling, and the large, orange and white male stepped out from the branches, frowning a bit as he stared down at her. "Fala, what did you see?" His words rumbled and seemed to shake the ground beneath her, intimidating almost anyone that approached. Yet with Fala, it was the opposite reaction. She could see in his eyes, that he was unsure. Nervous, confused, worried at times. For anyone else, there was confidence, wisdom, and kindness. Not for her, for her it was always different. It was like he sensed some sort of darkness inside of her, and didn't to get too close.
"Everything is clear and well, sir. It's quite tonight." She answered, tail flicking as he stared up at the stars, most of them clouded by gray clouds. After a few moments had passed, Fala got no response from the Prime, and figured that their conversation was over. So with a slight sigh, she turned around and shuffled back down the cliff, towards where the Soldiers slept. Making out the form of Henna among the shaded trees, she curled up beside female silently.
Her thoughts wandered for a few moments like the gentle snowflakes blanketing the ground. She wondered if the snow ever felt used or seem as less then it should be. When it would first come, it was beautiful, wonderful, and like a mystery. You toyed with it, and created it into things, messing with it more and more. Over time, you grow bored of it, and you learn of it's harshness, how strong and powerful it can be. You grow scared or it sometimes, and prefer others instead. Then, when the snow finally accepts this, it's too late to do anything. That's when, on the last day of it's life, it melts.
