Good luck, please read over the species description! The only rule is don't try to make a Royal Sundog.
Sundogs bear much resemblance to earth dogs. The sunlight energy from their tails allows them to float along the sky, allowing them to make their homes in the clouds. They propel themselves, at very impressive speeds, by running along the clouds as if they were fields of grass. They make dens from the clouds as well, preferring fluffy and think cumulonimbus formations for nesting and sleeping. Sundogs run in packs much like the wolves of earth, led by a strong male or female addressed as 'Parhelion'. Sundogs typically mate for life and have one pup per annum when breeding.
There are several varieties of Sundogs, including the Double- and Triple-Sun tailed dogs, Moondogs, and the rare Eclipsedog. Sometimes a very special pup is born that is said to be a RoyalSun. A Royal Sundog is destined to be a strong Parhelion, and may become the head of several packs that join together.
Different Sundogs prefer different kinds of weather, as reflected in their coat colors. Then again, some Sundogs are plain, some elaborately colored, and some are dark or black. A Sundog's suntail is fully developed at the time of birth, providing light and warmth for newborn pups and nursing mothers.
