Just a question, (deepest apologies if it's spam), but do you send payment to your desired artist just after you post a form? Or do you wait to be accepted? And also, how do we know if we're accepted?

You wait until you are accepted to send payment. The artists usually quote forms that they want to do, so just keep checking back to see if any of the artists quoted the form and said they would be willing to do it.
