you search the jungle at the perimeter of the spring. you hear plenty of noises from all kinds of creatures, but all of them avoid crossing your path.

you circle around the spring, looking in the cracks between the rocks that are littered across the banks. something blinks in one of the cracks. you coax the creature out into the open. a male unibunny!

you search in the cattails around the stream, hoping to spot a sunbathing vulpe or a unibunny burrow. you stumble across a vulpe, but it's just not your lucky day and it dart away.

there are plenty of flowers and patches of long grass so you search around those for any wild creatures, but it seems like they're all hiding from you.

you arrive at the hills as well and decide to search in a different area. about to give up you sit down near a bush, where suddenly a unibunny becomes visible, fur so perfectly camouflaged against the bush that you didn't even see it before even though it wasn't even invisible. a male unibunny!

wandering around the stream, you are decide to lay down just for a moment before continuing your search. you don't even realize you've fallen asleep until something brushes your hand and you jump up in surprise. a dragon-like creature the size of a large german shepherd is sitting sniffing your palm curiously while staying afloat in midair. what is it?

you start searching around the mountain base, climbing up a bit to look along the rocky ledges and shelves, when something flies at you. you manage to regain your footing and make your way down safely, and when you turn around a winged vulpe is regarding you with grudging respect.
it's a male winged vulpe!
