EE! im so exited the sites up, but i couldnt make an account. It will only let me check the correct age options. I also have a rune dragon but i think its still under my sisters name for the registration.

The coppa law does not allow us to collect information from people under 13 without parental consent. This is to protect underage children from being attacked or used. Our site does not feature coppa, so unfortunately no one under 13 may join. This is simply to protect you and our site.

Regarding COPPA Users on Eldemore

Specifically, if users are under the age of 13, we have to make a reasonable effort to contact their parents and obtain consent from them to collect personal information (and more importantly, keep records of this). The only information we collect is an email address (which is considered personal information), so rather than worry about complying with this law and the proper record keeping, we'd like to avoid any potential penalties that could be incurred and just say 'we don't allow anyone under 13 on our site'. This also helps us avoid a lot of other laws out there, because once your site is deemed as "targeting children", it's a whole new ball game. So our site is aimed at teenagers and young adults (we just like to keep things PG). Plus, we genuinely want to protect underage users from the evils of the internet. 'Cause the web can be a very dangerous place.

That being said, our current users should know that it is against Eldemore's rules for users to ever give out their age or other personal information. That way, no one on the site will know how old you are...
