Pig-lover Forever wrote:Not to be rude in any way at all, but they are right. ;? I feel sort of...what's the word....jealous. That I still haven't won my first kiamara yet. I'm sure that's how others feel as well when all they do is try and try and put so much work into their forms and event answers....and then all that effort just turns out to be congratulating other players, acting super duper happy for them, when really...you feel sort of mad. Yea I know it's just a game and stuff, but it's not really fair, because those people only got that high because of raffles. :/ Sorry if this offends anybody, but I'm one of the uses who try and try for kiamaras and then lose when my form had days of coding put into it.
How is it not fair? Marriel said herself that those who currently have large numbers of gems got them through the raffles. It's not like the staff is handing out gems to special people. We're offering them in special raffles (where everyone has the same chance), and to those who earn them. The staff doesn't play favorites. If you participate fairly, follow the rules, and are within the requirements, you'll be rewarded. What you're saying is basically that the staff isn't rewarding everyone for their efforts, if I understand correctly. This isn't true. As I mentioned before, we do have to limit the amount of the special items we give out, because they're supposed to be rare. If we automatically gave everyone a gem for one correct guess, or found gummy, the staff would be crazy busy with work. Can you imagine Apple having to create five customs? Or the artists having to draw on custom hair for fifty kias? That's completely unfair to the staff. Don't forget that we didn't have to put this event on. We did it because we love the community. Showing resentment and reprimanding us for not being "fair" is incredibly rude. All of the staff has been crazy busy and overworked this entire event, and we've gotten nothing but negative comments. If you guys aren't going to be thankful for the work we've put in, why should we ever do this again?
Additionally, the majority of your comment was focusing on your personal lack of a kiamara. Of course we hope that everyone who wants a kia will be able to adopt one, but complaining that we're not being fair is ridiculous. You have the same chance of anyone else in adopting a kiamara, so long as you put effort into your form. Not all kia artists focus on the art. Most of them, in fact, prefer to see you put real effort into your forms. That said, I don't see how your lack of a kiamara has anything to do with the "fairness" of the event. (Just a note, I've applied for and lost 20+ kiamaras. It's something everyone deals with.)
