I am very sorry to have posted this when the forms were closed, but I will say honestly that I had
no reason to suspect that they were. The first post said nothing about it, nor did the post in the
main thread. Yes, I realize that Lady posted just two posts above me that it was closed, but I was
very tired and had just read through the event rules, each event, and the front page of this for the
first time and was already upset to have missed most of the event from being busy, so I didn't
even think of scrolling up to see if Lady had posted anything because I really believed all I would
see would be more forms because of the way I thought this particular event was going to run itself.
I admit that I made this mistake in complete ignorance, but I do not say that I was ignorant for
ignorance's sake. I read all the rules both here and at the event and had no reason to suspect that
this event was closed. I sincerely apologize for being an enabler for others who knew it was closed
to think it might be open, but I would like to politely suggest that either a rule be added to the front
saying not to ask for stars when this is closed, or for an update directly of whether or not it is closed
be placed on the front page where tired but rule abiding people like me can see it and not have to
feel the shame of having broken a rule that we missed for it not being where we expected it to be.
