Thanks 37down!
Okay, special treat for you guys! I finally figured out how to do a timelapse of a drawing (Well, kind of; more or less. It's not that hard, but the program, or my computer, or both decided it would stop working and I still don't know what was wrong with it, but I messed with the settings and finally got it working again). All that matters is that I did it. I don't know if anyone else enjoys watching timelapses of people drawing or painting, but I do, and I always wanted to make one. And I finally did! Yay! So if you want to see how I color/shade etc. this is the lining, coloring and shading of a really quick picture of Brice with a hat. Unfortunately, I didn't record the sketch, because I did that by hand as a doodle, and decided 'hey, I should color this', so I scanned it in. It took only an hour and forty-five minutes, so it's very quick and sloppy, but the basic process is pretty much the same on every piece I do.
It's a six and a half minute video, so slap on some nice dance music or something, as it's fast paced. I apologize in advance for the bad quality. When I was messing with the recording settings I don't think I put the quality high enough. This is what experimenting is for! It would also help me if you guys could tell me if it's too fast, so I know for future. It jumps around a lot, but I figured six minutes was better then fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes is kind of long.
