I like the design aspect although I have seen the crystals done before, so unfortunately, that entry didn't stand out to me that much
I liked your idea of using the squares to create a "star dust" kind of feeling, but they do look a bit messy on the top since there's no contrast between the background and the trail. Other than that, the lines of the crystal look a little rushed, and probably aren't as neat as you can make them ;3
