Personality:
Unlike most male Daeets, Grinch is extremely unsocial, absolutely hating the company of others. It does not matter to him what species they are, from human to reindeer to elf to dog, he prefers to be alone as much as possible. It's not that hard, of course, since whenever he is involved in a conversation he known for either being too quiet or being too, simply put, rude.
Grinch is likely one of the most rude and impolite creatures that anyone will ever meet. He does not talk very often, for he finds social gatherings a nuissance, but when he does take part in a conversation, he is very loud and course and doesn't care what others think about him. He will speak his mind no matter what.
This abrubtness has caused him to get into quite a few fights in his past, with many different creatures, leaving a few various scars strewn across his body, but he is able to hide each of them under his thick green fur. But if, by chance, someone happens to spot one, his response is always just that "Scars are a part of life", plain and simple. To Grinch, scars represent strength, for they show that you have the confidence in yourself to stand up for what you think is right. If you have no scars, in his eyes, you are weak, and he will not give you even the slightest ounce of respect, so don't expect it, because you will be sadly dissapointed.
There is only one woman, with whom Daivat has the uttermost respect for, and actually lets his secret soft-side out for. That would be Mrs. Clause. Now, don't misunderstand, this large brute would never dare disrespect her husband, but he is just not as close to the man as he is to his wife. Believe it or not, contrary to the belief of most, this gruff male does actually have a part of his heart that is kind, sweet, and gentle. It comes out when he is around Mrs. Clause, and only she has ever seen it in all his thirty-seven years of life. He will do absolutely anything for the woman, helping her out with every little thing that he can to make her life easier, and has even allowed the woman to ride upon his back several times when she needed to get somewhere fast. He adores and loves Mrs. Clause, for she is the person who raised him, and he would give up his life if it meant saving hers.

~The Not-So Reindeer~
It appears that no one quite knows of the very begining of Grinch's life story, his parents remaining forever a mystery to all, as well as why they decided to leave him one Christmas Eve on the front doorstep of the house belonging to Mr and Mrs. Clause. Up in the North Pole, on one of the most busy days of the years for Santa, his Elves, and his Reindeer, it is a mystery as to how or why a couple of Daeets would even be so far north, in the nearly freezing climate. Mrs. Clause is the one who ended up finding him, in fact, for she had been feeling a strange desire in her heart, like something was happening and she was supposed to be there. She was right in the middle of setting the dinner meal on by mistake. She had not seeing the tiny newborn as he lay there in the white snow, nearly frozen as he tried to cuddle against the cold wall, covered in a thin layer of snow. With a gasp, she swooped the little green baby into her arms and into the house, working for nearly an hour to 'thaw' him out and feed him.

About a week later, with the hub-bub of Christmas finally being over and everyone just settling down, Mr. Clause was finally able to properly meet the young male, who had been refusing to so much as come out of hiding for anyone other than Mrs. Clause up until that point. He asked his wife if she had named the youngster yet, and she said that she had chosen the name Daivat, for the little male had perservered through extremely harsh conditions and somehow had still had the strength to survive. Mr. Clause agreed that the name was very fitting, and, through a bunch of nipping and scratching, picked up the Daeet, carrying him outside to meet the rest of the inhabitants of the North Pole. But it appeared that while the reindeer and elves were so friendly and welcoming to the child, the little daeet was extremely grumpy and rude to them, merely squirming out of Santa's hands and finding his way back to Mrs. Clause, where he cuddled up to her, completely ignoring everyone who tried to interact with him. It was like this for quite awhile, even after his blue eyes had opened, so it was quite obvious that the youngster wasn't just afraid of them all or something. He merely preferred not to be bothered by anyone, enjoying the company of either just himself or Santa's Wife.

As he grew, the male daeet became too large to stay in the house any longer, and Mr. Clause set him up with a comfortable stall in the stables, where the reindeer lived, and for the next few weeks as he tried to settle in, he felt more and more like a misfit then ever before.

[Fire At Heart]

Hello, my username is Fire at Heart! Some of you may know me as Demons <3 (IDK if I ever used it with daeets)... This is my third daeet I have applied for, I am really excited! I wanted to apply for this little girl when she was with her other sisters, but I had to go on a vacation the week I saw them. I was very sad to here that she was not adopted. So, now that she is up again, I am finally going to try!

Ok, so the daeet I am hoping for is *drumroll* ROX!! I just love her colors and just how she looks in general. I would keep her names the exact same because... IDK it fits her I guess! Anyway, if you could not tell Rox is female. She has three sisters and she is very playful! She weighs about 101 lbs. and is about 5' 10" tall. Her fur is a black over coat with a brown under belly and at the tip of her tail she has a greyish white tip!! Her "claws" are white and her beautiful eyes are lime green.

Honestly, I am still trying to figure out what Rox is like... But, so far I have gotten that she is a shy but lovable girl who just wants to have fun!! She loves to run on the beach and she loves to smell the flowers. She is calm and collected and unlike me she loves to spend the days lazing away. When she is at the beach she walks through the waves then lets her hair dry as she lay in the sun. She does not talk to a lot of people as she is very shy and she prefers to stick to herself. One of her biggest traits is defiance!! Even though she is shy once she warms up to you... she can be sassy and defiant. She loves to show you that she is an equal if not higher. Her history is sort of a mystery but we do know that she ended up in Horneddragons care with her 3 sisters and only got one applicate that was not up to Horneddragons expectations... so, know she sits in the pound waiting for someone like me to adopt her.

Appearance? You want to know what she looks like? Ok, then, I'll tell you. Fenirr is 1.65ft tall, which is a pretty standard height for a female daeet. She's not skinny but not fat, and is very fit. This will be important information later.

Her fur is seeming soft, with a warm nut brown base. The first impression of Fenirr is a light-colored daeet. In this color you will find strands of a darker shade, almost chocolate but not quite. But these are not the only colors marked on this daeet's pelt. Oh no, she has many other colors marking her pelt.

The nut brown blends neatly into a warm, deep brown color and then fades again into white-grey on her tail and the inside of her ears. Light caramel-colored highlights flow along her pelt in smooth lines of color until they reach her face, where they fade into dark brown. Her face is narrow and pointed like all other females of her species, and her eyes stand out from her dark fur.

Speaking of eyes, Fenirr's are quite pretty, being a medium shade of amber with flecks of dark and light. The only other noticeable thing about her is her stature, her frame is no doubt slim and lithe with sinewy legs. She's an agile daeet, not one of a particular show of strength.

Hmmm, her personality? Well, i'm not sure i'm the best person to judge but i'll try to be impartial. Fenirr is a silent-spoken daeet, that is clear when you first meet her. She has an air of fierce pride and arrogance about her, it's hard to be around her for long. She has quite a way with words when she wants to and speaks her opinions with a clear head and a cool tongue. She has no problem insulting other daeets, and it doesn't really show that she has a heart at all. Rest assured, that is not entirely the case.

She is more the type to sit back and listen to a good row than join in one herself, but she will defend her pride and she has a fierce code of ethics that she lives her life by. Without her code, her world would come crashing down. This is probably a side effect of her abandonment as a hatchling.

She feels most alive when in nature, listening to the thrum of life all around her. She feels very humbled when in the presence of the raw power that is nature, and is one of the only times you might see a glimpse of the true Fenirr under the glitter and façades.

The true Fenirr, you say? I myself have only seen it once or twice, and it is a precious thing to behold. Her arrogance simply falls away to reveal a blushing, stuttering daeet that is neither dangerous nor confident. She will blush at the first mention of a male daeet and is mortified when you ask her about her secrets. She's quite cute, actually. But there is a price - if you insult her to much or push her to hard, the walls will rise again and it will be even harder for her to let you in a second time. Her trust and friendship is a fragile thing indeed.

Her parents are unknown. She hatched, along with her two sisters, without her parents. She waited for them to return, but they never did. Fenirr knew then that they were alone, and she tried to teach her sisters and herself how to survive. With no guidance, Fenirr spent most of her time hungry and cold.

She grew up knowing that she had to take care of herself, and that's what she did. She left her two siblings later in life and traveled, meeting many daeets and seeing many things. Along the way she learned fighting techniques, defensive only of course.

After that she traveled here, to meet the one who was to be her companion. She met me.
