This is based on the Ancient Mariner. It is supposed to be night in the ocean, and the fish reflects the sky at night, as well as the brightly colored fish mentioned in the epic poem. The animal is reflecting the albatross, with white fur and black eyes. It is also supposed to represent the moon. The fan has been turned into a raggish thing, representing Death and her ship. I wanted to make it look ripped and mildewy, but I was afraid to change the lines for it.

Ack, I really shouldn't have chosen this design idea! I've been developing a character to reflect the Rime of the Ancient Mariner for a while, so I really should have chosen some other theme that didn't mean so much to me -_-
