1: no, sorry, you will have to make a form unless it says it is some sort of auction to win the POD on the first post of the POD.
2: hm, i would prefer you didnt, you should stick to the name you give to your POD. But, if you have owned it for a long time (as in half of a year) and you really do not like the name, i suppose you may change it.
3: PODs cannot be fursonas, just characters, sorry.

I am making the achieves on the fanfourm so I would prefer if no one were to change the name of their PODs, I don't think it is right to change the name of your POD either because when you were applying for it you get to choose the name so you should be sure whether you like it or not.

^^ I agree as well. Most likely the only time a POD's name would be changed is if they are up for readopting.
