I'm pretty sure that every two months(?) you have the option of growing your dragon into a new lineart. Of course, some people like to keep their beans in the baby lineart for months before aging them c:

Yes, beans can speak to humans and humans can also talk to them. They learn languages like we do, though. If they are born from parents that don't speak a human language or they aren't born around humans, they wouldn't be familiar with our ways of communication.

I'm not sure, I haven't been here for ages mind you as I'm still relatively new compared to other staff members. Members have also retired. I'd like to see proof of this if you could. But also I just like to say that just like any species, they pick up vocals from around them. I'm sure JBD's might have their own vocal language. One that's primal. But otherwise they understand other languages being used around them and often jbds have been moving into cities and have large interactions with people thus picking up a lot of influences there.

So a wild JBD might understand a bit here and there when they're younger then pick it up as they travel into society more. As one bean that was completely raised in the city might not have any knowledge of a wild JBD's vocal language. I hope that makes sense some what. XD Any mod can pick up this if they feel I haven't been detailed enough about it.
