He's a giant treelover, loves to climb and hop on and off trees, all over the place. When he was a young pup, he clawed and bit his way up a giant weeping willow and couldn't get down, luckily one of the neighbours saw the dog yowling and yapping on top of the tree and called 911. He was unaware, why was she using a human mating call? But soon enough, the police came and took Hyae down.

It was all over, the news, "Amazing dog climbs tree!" "Startling find of dog on tree!" And "Dog on tree, I repeat, dog on tree!!" Everyone loved the pooch from then on. Until a kind girl named Cleo took the currently unnamed pooch under her wings, literally. She took the pup into her arms, and flew off to home. No one dared to tell her off in fear of a good wing whipping. She combed and washed the canine, cuddling him when she could.

She named him, Hyae, he reminded the young girl of a hyena. She considered naming him Yaps, always yapping and yowling in night. Doggy opera, much?
