I know people have different convictions and it is different everywhere in the world. But as a Christian you should try not to be or act like the world. Which I believe would include how you speak as well as how you act.

I dont think that should be true..
You shouldnt separate yourself from the world, but you should differentiate yourself from the world. To separate is to be an isolationist, or an elitist. Christianity is based on the teachings of jesus who did not do that at all, but did the exact opposite. He went INTO the world, and hung out with the prostitutes and social rejects. He drank wine, he partied at crazy wild parties. But he was different because he based everything he did on positivity and kindness and did everything he could do to improve peoples' lives.

Would you like to give me verses to back up every one of your statements? Especially the wild party ones? He was on the Mount of Olives to teach, he was crucified. I know people who believe that drinking beer is okay. Alright, I can accept that, but some people are so tempted by the desire to get drunk that they cannot even have 1 sip. My Grandma used to have a sip of wine before her meals.
"Drunkards will not inherit the Kingdom of God." That is in the bible. I see nothing wrong with having one beer or one sip of wine as long as you don't get drunk, but you have to watch that line.
Where in the bible did Jesus use a curse word? You have to be careful with the character of Jesus or you could be on borderline blasphemy.

Give me a verse where an apostle swore, please.
Jesus was cleaning his Fathers house. My dad is going to be preaching on that next week. They where misusing his fathers house.

If more christians were a part of this world, imagine what a world it would be.

Just my little comments as to what I believe about the topics discussed.
Jesus did not come to make everyone's lives better. He said He would split families and that His followers would suffer daily by carrying their own cross throughout their lives. He also did not come to "party" with a bunch of sinners, but to show them the light and to show others who thought they were "holier" that they needed a Savior too. Jesus didn't come to "hang" but to save. He was certainly not always positive because He did preach on hell and the consequences of sin. It is true that we have to be in this world because we live here but we cannot be of it. "Of it" meaning acting like it while saying you're still Christian. We have to be the salt and light and if we look like darkness, well, what's the point of saying we're Christians? To save ourselves? If Jesus looked like darkness, how could He possibly have hoped to save others and bring them into the light? If cursing, drinking, partying, anything makes you look like darkness, well, I don't believe God's glorified. As Christians, we are supposed to live a life glorifying God. Leading a displeasing life to God is sin.
To say Jesus "hung" with prostitutes and was a "major party animal" is, in my opinion, pretty bad. I will have to agree with Sam on saying that it can be considered borderline blasphemy. He didn't go to the woman of the well saying "Hey yo, let's party at your places and I'll meet your 5 husbands!" He said that He was the living water and would save her from her lifestyle. Pretty big difference from the way you're portraying Him.
Finally, Jesus is authority. He wasn't usurping it because He is authority. If the Jews at that time would've known that, they would've 1. praised Him as Lord, 2. seen their sin in the temple with their money changing and selling of over-priced offerings, and 3. turned away from their sin. He is God. He was, is, and will continue to be their God. Who was really the authority in that situation?

he was not authority at the time. You need to look at the context. Also, if jesus appeared and started doing that with your church, you wouldnt view him as authority. There is more that meets the eye. Also, you are contextualizing what I am saying. I am not saying that he was a "party animal" but hung around those types. He went /into/ the darkness to bring it light. He didnt stay out in the light looking at the darkness and sneering at it. He got his hands dirty and went in and got to understand situations. THATS what jesus is. He also said the light comes from within. How would you know if your church is wrong if jesus didnt tell you so? And if he did, would you recognize it as jesus?
102. Jesus said, "Damn the Pharisees! They are like a dog sleeping in the cattle manger: the dog neither eats nor [lets] the cattle eat."
101. "Whoever does not hate [father] and mother as I do cannot be my [disciple], and whoever does [not] love [father and] mother as I do cannot be my [disciple].
98. Jesus said, "The Father's kingdom is like a person who wanted to kill someone powerful. While still at home he drew his sword and thrust it into the wall to find out whether his hand would go in. Then he killed the powerful one."
97. Jesus said, "The [Father's] kingdom is like a woman who was carrying a [jar] full of meal. While she was walking along [a] distant road, the handle of the jar broke and the meal spilled behind her [along] the road. She didn't know it; she hadn't noticed a problem. When she reached her house, she put the jar down and discovered that it was empty."
