Welcome to the Tusk Dog Adoption Center! Here you can recieve adoptables called Tusk Dogs (though they're not actually dogs, we'll get to that later). They are growable, breedable, and you can even get customs for a price.

Info

Background Info: Tusk Dogs are called dogs, but they really aren't dogs, and aren't even in the same family. They do act somewhat like canines, however. They live in small family groupings, hunting in packs, and are intelligent and social, which makes them good with humans. They are about the same size as a fox, though not as sleek in shape. They eat meat most of the time and will catch or scavenge it. Though their tusks are the most obvious thing they use for attack, they also have hooked claws on the thumbs of their front feet.

Growth: As growables, Tusk Dogs have three stages of aging: Baby, Juvenile, and Adult. Normally, it takes them 4 days to reach the next stage, but if you feed and care for them (as in, posting 'I play with [insert name], or 'I feed [insert name] an apple') every day then it can be shortened to 2 days.

• Please keep these on CS, unless you have asked permission to do otherwise.
• Spam isn't fun for anyone. So no spamming. Also, whining is not appreciated.
• Please do not steal any credit. Your specific adopted Tusk Dog is yours, but don't say you made the species, lines, art, etc. (not counting fanart)
• General CS rules should be followed, as we are on CS.
• Don't ask to be an artist unless there is a specific post in news asking for new artists. Same goes for Co-Owners, Mods, etc.

Adoptions & Pound


Adoptions

Adopting a Tusk Dog is easy! All you have to do is find one that's available (if it has a red, green, or blue little circle on its page then it's up for adoption), fill out the form, and paste the filled out form on the page! If the dot is red, you have to win some sort of drawing or writing contest to get the adoptable. If the dot is green, the first person to post on the adoptable's page automatically gets it. If the dot is blue, after a certain number of people post, a random winner is chosen. Tusk Dogs do not start aging until they are adopted.

Pound

Are you tired of your Tusk Dog? Don't let it just sit there and collect dust. Give it to the Pound to be re-adopted! To adopt a Tusk Dog from the Pound, fill out the form, fill it out, and post it on this page. Tusk Dogs in the pound do age, so most of them will probably be adults.

Breeding

If you want, you can breed two of your Tusk Dogs (or one of yours and someone else's, provided you have permission) and after 3 days, you'll get up to 3 pups! They will age normally from their birth date and will look like their parents (since the markings aren't specific, the genetics aren't specific either; it'll be more like a mishmash of both parents' looks). All you have to do is fill out the form and paste it on the main page.

Customs

If you want, you can get a custom-made Tusk Dog, and it can look like anything you like (with some limitation, natural colors only, please). They will show up as babies and grow normally. It only costs one wishlist pet, too! If you don't own a wishlist pet, two rares, preferably different, are okay. As with other adoptions, you fill out the form and paste it in the main post.
