Size: 23- 150 cm
Wingspan: 38- 257 cm
Gender ratio: 25 - 75 (male - female)
Range: Jungle/ Deep Forest
Classification: Wild

Elusive and quick, the Tynari hatch from small eggs hidden in the highest places in the trees surrounding the glade. Characterized by their ragged ears, and long tails, they are very agile and usually have natural coats. Odd patterns and neon type coloration seem rare. Only the males sport the brightest and most unusual patterns. they have a great distrust of humans, it has taken me a long wile to persuade the Tynari to allow me to approach. Currently I am uncertain if they are the creation of some rare breeding between bird and cat, or a new species all-together, more data is needed..

From what I have seen Tarynis have two forms, a much smaller yet heavily built "cherubic" type, and a larger "heavy" type ...

Cherubic ~

~ heavy bodies
~ smaller wings
~ Very small, largest i have seen was only 28 cm long.
About the size of my forearm
~ Generally very happy creatures
~ Eggs are around the size of a robins
~ These are the most likely to appear, and are the most likely to have 'rare' color patterns.

~ larger that a house cat, roughly the size & build of a medium dog.

The forest ..

Mother Tarynis are extremely protective of their eggs, but every now and then some are left. No one knows how these forgotten eggs come to be, there is normally no evidence of whom the mother Tarynis is aside from a few feathers and some fur left in the nest. These eggs will appear here for adoption to a loving home.

The Glade

From time to time a funny grown Tarynis will appear for your adoption, these fully grown wild Tynari have to be persuaded to joining you or your characters. Each Tynari here will have their own stipulations to what they are looking for in a companion, it is up to you to decide if you want to follow their guidelines.
