Zebulon~ meaning "of the dwelling place."
.absent-minded.Yes, Zebulon does have the tendency to "Zone out" when he is being spoken to, especially when he is being scolded. Zebulon has a difficult time listening for long periods of time. For this reason he doesn't like speeches or long talks. They are useless to him. He doesn't like to analyse situations very much either. He simply can't. Zebulon is also very forgetful and often forgets things he's supposed to do.
Zebulon’s eyes slid open drowsily. He raised his head slowly and looked around. I must have fallen asleep on the way to training, Thought Zebulon. He drowsily moved into a sitting position and looked out of the cave entrance. A soft rain pattered outside the cave and the blue grass looked lush and plentiful all around Isket. Zebulon could hear the waterfall that cascaded in the distance. He saw a light reddish-brown figure bounding towards him and recognized his best friend, Blazer instantly. He watched her approach. As she neared the cave Zebulon noticed her eyes were widened as if she was worried. “Hey Zeb!” Blazer said as she sat down in front of Zebulon. He just nodded in response to her eager greeting. “I thought we were going to train together today.” Blazer said leaning towards Zebulon. “Well I was on my way when I laid down and I guess I just fell asleep to the sound of the waterfall.” Zebulon said with his eyes half open as usual. Blazer’s expression turned from anxious to annoyed. “I saw your father, and he didn’t seem happy that you were absent from a training session, Yet again.” She said bluntly. “I don’t care. What’s he gonna do anyways?” Zebulon said casually. Blazer twitched her ears in frustration at Zebulon’s response. “Don’t you dream of being a warrior defending Isket someday?” Blazer asked Zebulon. Zebulon yawned. “Sure.” He said unenthusiastically. Blazer nudged Zebulon. “Come on! We could still get a little training in before the sun sets.” Blazer said bouncing. Zebulon lay down and rested his head on his paws. Blazer sighed and tugged his ear. “Come on!” She squeaked. Zebulon grunted. “Alright!” He said getting up placidly. Blazer bounded away and Zebulon followed her at a walk. He looked at her light figure in the drizzling rain and felt a pang of affection that he had never felt before. He quickly shook the thought away and followed her to training.
