I may be mistaken, but I'm sure you can save drawings, and decide to finish them later? nvn; So Kiley could make JBD 500/600, save it for later, and post it when she's ready.

I spoke briefly with Kiley, she says her computer is basically broken so I doubt the 500th bean will be posted anytime soon. I ask you all be patient. The nursery will still be running and we have other beans to try out for, plus I have at least three re-adoptions to do within the next couple of weeks.

I have a question about re-adoptions since I can't seem to find the answer myself.
Is there a specific thread somewhere that will say so and so is up for re-adoption? or is it just that you have to go by ear and if you hear about it then you know about it?

I've been wondering the same thing; is there perhaps a thread we can visit that has links to the beans up for reaoption; I myself am interested in adopting a bean who needs a new home. If not, then maybe a thread like that can be made.

Question~ as a nursery bean/child bean ages, could it get more markings? I've heard that as a child they are usually markingless or have a few markings, but as they grow, they continue to get more.

The egg shell's color matches the fur color of the baby it keeps inside. A baby JBD is born with no markings, though a week after it hatches, it will start changing fur, and its markings will appear

Typically, most beans are 'born' and then brought into the forums as a 1-3 year old. Since this means they are past a week, they have all of their markings.

Dana's baby bean was the once exception to this, as she is an artist and could grow and add on her own time. However, most artists do not have enough time to continually go back and edit every bean as it grew.

So, no, it won't get more markings after it has been born/made.

    Apologies if this is counted as spam. ovo;;

    I'm a little confused here. In the species headquarters, Hiccup states that breeding can be every two months. Whereas in the nursery, it's only every month. So I'm wondering which one it is?

    Are we allowed to give our beans grey fur? Maybe a bit of a beard?
    When my boy Salt grows older, I thought it would be cool for him to start getting grey furs, to show he's old. xD
    So do JBDs get grey fur? As in when they get older?
    It wouldn't count towards the four colour rule (for me anyway) as Salt only has two colours. But yes, I'm jut wondering. cx

    If you have a child bean, that you've owned for say six months, can you age it directly to an adult? Just saying that it has been a teen for a couple months, but you just couldn't get to colour it's teen ref? o3o

    I'm sorry if this is spam, but I think my actual questions got missed in that conversation. ^^;

    I think that was a communication error. However, since we have gone with one month recently I say let's stick with it.

    I'm going to say no as of now, we only have a handful of older beans and it hasn't been an issue yet.

    This should be a case-by-case event. Say, if the artist of the baby bean never got around to aging it to teen (this would take two months) and you just wanted to make it an adult, you could.

    I think I covered most of it! :)
