Main WtD Thread!

Welcome to the new WtD contest!! In this contest, you will have a chance to make your own WtD, get a custom, and become an artist!

Currently 43 contestants and 96 entries

Intro

For this contest, you must design a Whiptail Dragon using these lines, or your own lines if you want. :3 The contest will end on June 13th 15th 19th, 6:00AM (6 o'clock in the morning) GMT +1 - central european time

But what is a Whiptail Dragon??

Whiptail Dragons are small dragon-like creatures that come in almost endless color varieties. They have a thin crest that runs down their head and back, and razor-like horns on each side of their head. They can grow to be about the size of the average German Shepherd, sometimes slightly larger. WtDs are generally stocky creatures, yet they can easily match the running speeds of a human athlete. Their front claws aid in hunting and climbing, giving them good grip. All Whiptail Dragons have a tuft of fur that covers their bellies, keeping them warm during the winters.The crest that runs along their head and back also aids in warming them, and is usually a dark color to better soak up sunlight.

Like most reptiles, they enjoy warm climates, and tend to become drowsy and sluggish in the cold. Many Whiptail Dragons are found closer to the equator, where it is most warm. Their tails are thick and flexible, allowing WtD`s to use their tails like a whip to defend themselves or display dominance. Males usually have very bright tails compared to females, and often use them to show off in mating seasons. WtD`s are flightless, and even if they were to have wings, would still be unable to fly due to their weight and the fact that their bones are not hollow. Their scales feel silky to the touch, but if you slid your hand towards a WtD`s head, you would get many scratches, for their scales are sharp at the tips. WtD`s can have up to 5 different colors, no more, but they have been found with less.

- Please only enter if you will be committed to the WtDs (At least try to make one or two every month. :3)
- You may enter as many times as you'd like
- Line edits are very encouraged!! As long as you keep them related to the species

- I've already seen this a few times and just have to add it: all ebtries with more than 5 colors (NOT including accessories) won't be counted!!

- A custom WtD by me (It does not count towards your 5 WtDs) **You can also chose to keep one of your designed ones**
- Becomes an official artist for the WtD's

Fifth
- A custom WtD by me (It does not count towards your 5 WtDs) **You can also chose to keep one of your designed ones**
- Becomes an official artist for the WtD's

Sixth
- A custom WtD by me (It does not count towards your 5 WtDs) **You can also chose to keep one of your designed ones**
- Becomes an official artist for the WtD's

Seventh
- You get to keep one of the WtDs you designed (It does count towards your 5 WtDs)
- Becomes a guest artist

Eighth
- You get to keep one of the WtDs you designed (It does count towards your 5 WtDs)
- Becomes a guest artist

Ninth
- You get to keep one of the WtDs you designed (It does count towards your 5 WtDs)
- Becomes a guest artist

Tenth
- You get to keep one of the WtDs you designed (It does count towards your 5 WtDs)

Eleventh
- You get to keep one of the WtDs you designed (It does count towards your 5 WtDs)
- Becomes a guest artist

Twelfth to twentieth
- Can keep ONE of the designs created by the 11 top artists (if they allow it)

**Just mentioning, guest artists CAN be promoted to official artists if I like their designs enough!!**

**When I have 15 contestants, I'll add another prize slot!! Then with 20 another, and with 25 one more, and so on** ^o^
