A lot of people liked to roleplay their dragons on the thread, which caused a bit of spam. Not to mention we have such a large fanbase, we were reaching 900 pages after only a week had gone by. So we decided that a website was the best way to handle things, and it really is. c:

Can I ask a few questions? 1.) If and when some dragons reach 80+ what would happen? Would they be asked to expire then a new slot would open up, or could they just continue aging until forever? Or would it be like Sonic chaos that reincarnate and start out as babies again?

2.) Are we allowed to "make" a dragon's parents? Like if a part of an application form was the dragon's history, would one be able to "create" the parents for that situation then have them disappear afterwards? They wouldn't be claimed as real adoptable dragons, nor would they be treated as such. In my case, I want to expand on my dragon's backstory with a comic, and his parents would be a big factor in who he is. Thank you.

1.) Because aging is completely on you, we wouldn't offer any compensation for what you decide to do to your own beans. I have seen it discussed that no bean can really "Die", so I assume it would still take up a slot even if you decided to retire him to inactivity.

2.) That's a very iffy area. I have seen a few users do it before, but only with specific permission from a staff member.
I have thought about doing the same thing in a comic, to be honest. I decided that if I were ever to draw my beans' parents, I would choose their base coat, and draw them as plain dragons, leaving out all the markings.

If someone were to put a dragon up for re-adoption, would it open that slot up again or would they only be able to own 3?

May I ask a question? I havent seen it in the search bar thing so If you have a young JBD and don't want it to ever grow up, do you just not age it? Or can a JBD catch YFS? I hope you understand what I mean. For example, you have a baby jelly bean dragon, and it doesn't have YFS. Yet, you don't want it to grow so, could it just get YFS? Like the owner can ask the artist to make it young forever.

You can choose to simply never transfer your bean to the adult or teen ref. That's totally fine.
The only beans that must grow are nursery beans who's ages are linked to other nursery beans, such as siblings.

Normal adopts are fine.

If this is the case, are the some sort of limits, so people aren't just "trading in" beans all the time? I mean, I suppose the artists would stop picking them as contest winners but even getting away with it once or twice seems unfair.

I suppose if we find any users doing this, we would temporarily ban them from adopting new beans, or permanently so if the situation is severe enough.

Whether or not we issue a ban from adopting really depends on the amount of time between adopting and giving up a particular bean.
If they have a bean for a week and put it up for re-adoption, I would personally become suspicious and keep an eye on them. Should another thing like this happen with the same user with the next bean they adopt, I would bring it to the attention of the other staff, and we would work it out from there.
Though, it is different if they have a bean for a few months, and just aren't clicking as they thought they would when initially trying out for said bean.
