So this is what I've come up with as a dress for an Alicorn character in a contest.

It has a high neck and open back bodice that is supposed to hug the body, while three long ruffles extend over her middle, flank, and the majority of her legs; there is a slight train, but not enough of one to weigh down the dress. The only current accessory is a pair of arm bands which have a gauze-like fabric sewn into them that cover the majority of the mare's forelegs.
The majority of the dress is a misty, silver-white hue with deep red accents to add pop to the dress.

I'd love to get critique and feedback, mostly on these two points: is this too girly (the ruffles, accessory) and would you like more detail in the bodice (as I feel as though it needs something to make it unique).

I'll continue to work on this over the next few days and see what else I can come up with~

Do you have any preferences for what design I incorporate onto the bodice of the dress? Or any other accessories you'd like to see (I don't know if your character would just wear her normal crown or if she'd wear something else for a formal occasion)?

no it`s fine, and she will just wear her crown

I updated it with some designs, since it felt too plain to me. Since some people think swirls are too girly, please let me know if I should alter the design on the neck/collar, forelegs, and the ruffles~
