Not everybody is comfortable around DA nor has time for it, and if they aren’t ok with following the species there anymore, it’s a consequence of this decision.
What’s the difference between registering and not being active and not registering at all, by the way? The equids will die out as you said this way as well. Even if you convince people to register, some still won’t participate anymore. It’s up to us to decide based on what we want for our equids, I myself won’t be joining on DA, even while having an account there, because I don’t feel comfortable having my equids there and seeing them as just another DA breed.
Nicely worded Amigo. I agree with you on this 100%.
I had thought about registering my equids to DA but I have had enough bad experiences on there that I limit my DA time as much as possible. No I am not afraid of it. I do have a DA account, have had a DA account for years now. I upload pictures of my costumes to it occasionally. But I go on so rarely that even if I bothered uploading my babies onto there they would sit and rot. So there really isn't any reason to go through all the time and energy to register these guys onto DA just to have them do absolutely nothing, hence why I see no reason to join the club. I would feel bad if I uploaded them on there and they just rot away and me forget about them.
At least if I keep them here they will be more actively used. I post art and stuff on here, not on DA. I have little time, patience or energy to go on DA more than 1 or 2 times weekly at best, even then it is to look at 1 person's updates and that's it. I am on CS far more often
