Horsy expained the registration on the DA page.

First, you upload the WME ref to the correct folder in the group. Then you send a note to the group, asking for a registration number. But currently, horsy isn't giving out numbers and she won't until the WMEs are all sorted on DA.

I think you have to register your equids only if you want to breed them. I don't think you need to register them to adopt new ones, as the limit is now unlimited. :P

Wonderful, thanks! I'll have to keep more of an eye on the DA page xD

Why don't you want to register them? You just need a image, basic info and a ID number. Other then that they can sit there quite happily.

I'm not really going to use my WME's on DA at all, so theres no need to go through the hassle of registering them xD I really plan on just adopting one last mare and then hang around this fanclub and chat uwu

If everyone has this attitude then I won't bother completing the equid group on DA. Without the continued support of you guys they will die out. You have been great so far and extremely supportive and I thank you for it, on my hands and knees.

But now when it is needed most to get equids off the ground you all leave. DA itself is a great site with friendly people. Please give it a chance. I know it scared me when I first joined, and now I really enjoy it. Even though its bigger and I went from a big fish in a small pond to a small fish in a big pond. But I love it and it opens itself better to WME's. It will give people more freedom.

So please, rather then shunning DA give it a chance.

Well, Horsy, first of all you never warned anybody about you considering the move when you had this idea. You threw that at us and we had to accept that, liking it or not. Not everybody is comfortable around DA nor has time for it, and if they aren’t ok with following the species there anymore, it’s a consequence of this decision.

What’s the difference between registering and not being active and not registering at all, by the way? The equids will die out as you said this way as well. Even if you convince people to register, some still won’t participate anymore. It’s up to us to decide based on what we want for our equids, I myself won’t be joining on DA, even while having an account there, because I don’t feel comfortable having my equids there and seeing them as just another DA breed.

So I'm confused; are we allowed to send in registration requests now, or is the process still suspended?

Nicely worded Amigo. I agree with you on this 100%.

I had thought about registering my equids to DA but I have had enough bad experiences on there that I limit my DA time as much as possible. No I am not afraid of it. I do have a DA account, have had a DA account for years now. I upload pictures of my costumes to it occasionally. But I go on so rarely that even if I bothered uploading my babies onto there they would sit and rot. So there really isn't any reason to go through all the time and energy to register these guys onto DA just to have them do absolutely nothing, hence why I see no reason to join the club. I would feel bad if I uploaded them on there and they just rot away and me forget about them.

At least if I keep them here they will be more actively used. I post art and stuff on here, not on DA. I have little time, patience or energy to go on DA more than 1 or 2 times weekly at best, even then it is to look at 1 person's updates and that's it. I am on CS far more often

This is true, I am more active on CS than DA.
(except, while waiting for the EQAs and Equids to complete
their move, I haven't been active on either sites.) Equids
where the main reason I came on CS so much...which is why
I was scared at first when I first heard about the move...I
was scared I'd end up packing my bags and moving to DA too
and missing out on all the friends I've made through Equids,
mainly because DA isn't as close knit as CS and I've been
active on CS for many, many years. But, I've decided for
myself that making time for both sites is worth it. In my
eyes anyway. But, in the future, it may end up that I'm
slightly more active on DA, since I will have to fight a bit
to keep in touch with my equid related friends. :3

I guess the main point I'm trying to make is, keep an open
mind and things change. Maybe you think that your equids
don't belong on DA, but you can still give it a shot to try it
out. It's not the end of the world.
