JBDs can date for as long or little as you like before you make them mates. Just remember you can't change the mate once you choose one.
There are separate time/age restrictions for having babies, found on the nursery thread.

Only JBD staff (artists, mods) are allowed customs for their work.

I have a question ^^

My bean Juniper is listed as another bean in the archives. I guess that before she went up for adoption she had a different owner for a short amount of time and she's listed as Aeden or something lol. Who could I contact to fix that? I've noticed people still trying to name beans Juniper in recent contests and I would hate for someone to win and have to change their name after they win xP

We're working on updating it right now, so it should be fixed soon. xD

I have a similar case; My bean Sprite, who was a readopt, has a different owner (Skittles!!) in the archives. Same name, though. c:
