You may age your bean from year-to-year as fast as you like. You have to take 2 real months (minimum) to go from child to teen, and another 2 months for adult.
However you would like to jump the ages between the growths is up to you.
If, for example, they have been a teen for less then two months, you may jump to any age under 20 (the age when the bean becomes an adult) And still keep them as a "teen"
If they have been a teen for more, you may age them to the next stage, if desired.
Our aging rules only govern when you can change stages, aging them on a year-by-year basis is all up to you.
