We really need a discussion topic...for both users and artists....
Hey guys, since we are a realistic adoptable, it's a really great idea to look at equine genetics when doing a breeding. I use a genetic calculator to figure out all color and pattern possibilities, then I use a randomizer to make it more realistic. :3 That's how I end up doing breedings that are both closer to real life and pretty neat too. ^___^ I can recommend a genetic calculator if you guys like!
When you're an artist for a horse adoptable, researching horses is a big part of it. Being an artist has actually taught me quite a bit about horse genetics! More then I knew before. :3 But I love horses and horse colors and such in general so it's fun!

One thing- the long mane is reserved for stallions as far as I know- you'd have to ask teresa about allowing long manes
Oh if that's the case, I'm fine with the shorter mane

I love horse coat colour genetics. I did an A-level assignment for Biology already. ^^

Oh, I know! XD I'm not saying people don't do it, it was just sort of a comment on breedings for those who have't done any yet. XD Horse coat color genetics are fun.
