I find that most people give their African wild dog a name that means something in a different language, but not me. After I studied the new wild dogs to decide which one I liked best, and chose Shadow, I stared hard at her design and thought about a name. Shadow clicked instantly, and made her even more important to me because I used to have a hamster named Shadow. The name fits her well because the has markings like the shadows of clouds, racing each other over the desert of her brown back.

She is very beautiful... usually i would look through the different post and see which one gives me the best chance at winning but... i just couldn't go for another one that was just random. My eyes went to her first. I love the fur pattern.... how it is from dark to light like a sunrise. But "sunrise" didn't really fit for a name. I like Mystique better. The name doesn't really have much reason besides I love "Mystic" and Monique, and when you combine them it makes it unique! (haha rhyming...) Anyways, it seems most people are voting for 5, but i hope i win. Good luck to all.

And i know this little... blurb probably is not helping me in anyway for "winning" that dog but i felt in necessary anyways.
