44, he is absolutely stunning, I have wanted a badger deer for a while, but none have quite caught my eye except for this one!



Name:

Zecorou (zee-core-ow)

He sometimes goes by 'Z' or 'Zeke'
His nicknames are also sylvan (a gaurdians of nature) and leaf (he like the word leaf...)
(Name wise, I was also tied between Amadeus, archipelago, and a few other names besides zecorou)

(I thought of Opal or Aspen but I already have a character named Aspen and Opal seemed to feminine for this handsome stag)

Personality:

He is happy all the time, nothing can make him sad, scared sometimes or maybe even shocked but never sad. He is very kind, generous, and caring and doesn't like or tolerate 'negative nellies' and will use his outstanding natural charm to brighten up everyone's day.

Favorites:

Z's favorites tend to be any kind of flower and honey (heaven help you should you combine the two, cause of death: Stampeded by a happy badger deer...). He love butterfly's, birds, and anything happy. He loves to go outside and dip his feet in the water from time to time. He loves to go on walks and chase falling leaves. He likes the rain, it doesn't make him sad at all, he thinks it is beautiful and enjoys the sound.

Short Story:

As I walked through the woods after picking some flowers, i then came to a vast clearing with mountains far in the distance with the golden rays of sun bathing the land. I started walking through the towering grass and only ten feet into the clearing I tripped on something. But when I got up, there was nothing there, at least nothing was there now. I looked around me and saw some grass moving a little ways away from me then the grass started to form a trail, that must be the thing that tripped me! I decided it might not be a good idea to follow the creature therefore I decided to continue on my set direction. But as I had started walking, the creature had changed it's direction, it was coming straight at me! I ran but the being gave chase! I was starting to run out of breath when I tripped on a root, I turned myself around, and saw the creature that had tripped me, the sunlight glimmered on his pelt, it was stunning! His coloration looked like that of an opal. It looked to be a rare species as well, a badger deer perhaps? We stared at each other for several moments until he bent down to eat the flowers I had dropped. After he ate all of the flowers he bent his head down and pressed it against my chest. He layed down and I began to stroke his fur, surprisingly, it was incredibly soft. We layed there for a few hours. Afterwards, I walked in a direction to go get some more flowers for the beautiful badger deer, he chose to follow me. We came to a enormous flower patch. He grazed while I picked some to feed him later. As I placed them in my basket his head rose and he stared at me, then slowly came towards me and stared into my eyes, his eyes shimmered in the sun along with his pelt. I reached my hand out and he nudged his head to my hand. He seemed to be bonded with me, either that or he enjoys the flowers I gave him. We began to walk towards my home, side-by-side. As it grew dark, I heard a small whisper, it simply said "Zecorou".

Short Story: abigaile was born on the side of a surly mountain in the wooded regions of the island. her namesake is modeled after the large gusts of winds, which usually come right before the devastating storms, common in the area. abigaile, most often known as gail, was always strange in that she disappeared during the storms. many of her herd believe that she is a storm summoner, and although she is adored, there is always a mystical and dangerous element to her presence. few know exactly what she does during a storm.

abigaile trotted lightly through the dim forest, and stomped her feet once she reached the edge of the clearing. she peeked out and noticed the large quantity of storm clouds in the sky, and the buzzing of the air. there hadn't been a storm for months. she wouldn't miss this for anything. she shook her pelt and picked up her pace again, entering the clearing. she didn't have much time before she would have to turn around and find shelter.

once the clearing was behind her, abigaile paused and sniffed the moist earth of the forest again. as her nose was pressed to the ground a single raindrop fell on her snout. she looked to the sky and furrowed her brow, "i still have time", she spoke softly to the clouds. she trotted, then quickened her speed, and then began to gallop as she passed all of the landmarks that led her to her destination. a few creatures looked at her curiously, and then ducked her heads back into their homes. she couldn't turn around now, she was so close.

abigaile slowed down once she saw the spot, only a few meters away. it was a clearing, surrounded by flat ground all around. in the center was a circle of metal poles and obstructions sticking at odd angles into the grass and black soil. in the center of this construction, was a raised mound of earth, still covered in a bed of lush green grass. abigaile ducked underneath one of the metal pieces that fenced the circular area and claimed her position atop the center of it all. she did this just as clouds thickened and the remaining sunlight disappeared, and rain poured from the sky.

lazily it began at first, and then with great force did the clouds empty themselves. abigaile was at the center of it all. when the lightning struck out at her, it didn't dare touch her. it formed a ring of blinding light and power around her, conducting to the metal obstructions and haloing abigaile. she wasn't the summoner of the floods or the storms. not with her pale eyes and cloudy pelt. she was the summoner of the light.
